I feel like my claim was completely ignored. I reached out multiple times to my claims adjuster without receiving any help. I submitted a claim to repair my car's windshield, headlight, and hood. I was told they were going to use used parts to try and repair my car, then they denied the claim. My claim representative would occasionally disappear for weeks and then call to say that my claim didn't make sense, and stated that my accident never happened. One of the conversations was so unsatisfactory that I felt almost bullied. I'm unsure what to do with this kind of customer support. Jimmy Romero was difficult to deal with, and the company dropped the ball on an easy claim. I will be sharing this experience so that no one else makes the mistake of using this terrible company. Toggle is the worst! I had an inexplicable electrical power surge that bl€w out my oven, microwave, and refrigerator. We were able to save the oven and microwave, but the fridge was a total loss. Toggle was difficult to reach, and when I finally was able to speak with a representative, they rudely told me that the refrigerator wasn't covered even though my policy covered all of my appliances. Immediately after this, I cancelled my policy with Toggle, as they said that my appliances were covered initially. However, when an inexplicable power surge occurred in my kitchen and I needed Toggle to cover my refrigerator, Toggle refused to cover my refrigerator.
Do not use Toggle!

This is an invisible company managed by robots and machines or at least, this is as they coming across when it comes to contact them. There's no phone number available. You have to fish it out of the Internet so you can contact them. Once you call them, you start navigating through their maze with menus at the end of each supposedly exit. Once you reach thouse menus, is where the Volleyball starts Good luck 🤣

I purchased renters insurance from Toggle for my son's apartment. It was a good price and easy to set up. However, when he finished college, we could not get them to stop billing my credit card. It looks like I will have to cancel my card to prevent them from charging it.

I recently filed a claim with Toggle and received a response within an hour. My agent was Donnie Ceballos. He was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. Within 24 hours my claim was reviewed and closed. I couldn't be happier with Donnie's support, professionalism, and promptness in addressing my concerns.

I have a policy. Before it started, I canceled to switch to a different credit card. It turns out you do not get refunded for canceling (this was not displayed anywhere). So now I'm out of money and the representative I spoke with was extremely rude about it. Do not purchase this insurance.

yes absolutely ridiculous! What if you don't have your password info with you? No number to call? what kind of service is this "Toggle"? I had to get my friend to use her AAA insurance, with a quick phone response & tow truck came promptly when car woulnd't start. I'm switching to AAA. Ever since 21st changed to "Toggle" I've had nothing but problems. Was a customer for 27 years. Now it's hours on hold, hassles, no service. Insurance increased 40% for no reason ( no accidents or incidents). Insurance should be cheaper if they don't offer standard services such as phone or customer service.

Awful. The website is riddled with errors, especially in terms of legal terms and contract information. The IT department failed to provide working links and correct wording for quotes, as well as information regarding information storage authorization. There are about 15 broken hyperlinks. The privacy opt-out page is full of broken links, and the process for opting out is overly complicated. Nothing is easy, and support is questionable, especially if they are inexperienced. A representative named Josh, discussing the use of their website for the first time to obtain a quote, seemed tired of assisting me and actually said, "I had to look inside myself to see if an e-commerce digital auto insurance platform is something I really want." I had to reach out to the CCPA in California to ensure that Toggle is adhering to consumer rights. I am astonished at how poorly this e-commerce platform is constructed; it is a testament to an IT team that is set for disaster.

Worst company ever! Changed from 21st Century, which I was insured with for 27 years, with no accidents. My bill increased 40%. I called and was on hold for hours numerous times. I give a zero rating for customer service. I got the insurance commissioner involved, but they were useless. How can a company increase your bill by 40% when you're a good driver, and there are no consequences for providing no customer service? I wasted so much time on hold and sending emails with complaints. This is outrageous. We need to band together and hold these companies accountable, and vote out the current insurance commissioner. People are allowed to drive after numerous accidents, DWIs, etc., while we have to pay more for the "uninsured motorist."

I was automatically switched to Toggle insurance when they bought out 21st Century Insurance. I have read many reviews where people's rates have gone way up or even doubled. I, however, have had the opposite experience, believe it or not. My rates have gone down by about $25 each month. I have two cars insured with them and only carry the bare minimum coverage required by the state of California. My cars are a 2006 model and a 2021 model. I'm quite happy with my new, lower rates!

Received a notice that my policy was being canceled because my driver's license was invalid. Spent 20 minutes on hold. They admitted my driver's license was valid, but said there was no way to correct it except by canceling my policy and issuing a new one. If I have to have a new policy, I'm going to check out some other companies. Opened that policy with 20th Century over forty years ago and never had a problem with them.

I'm extremely unhappy with the change from 21st Century Insurance to Toggle. I've been with 21st Century for 20 years or more. Toggle customer service is online via a virtual agent. It was disturbing and not helpful—akin to talking to a robot with zero personality and no ability to address my issue. I wasn't aware of the insurance change as I thought Toggle was some advertising company. My payments had been automatically taken out of my account, so I didn't realize that I had fallen behind on the payment by one month until today. I requested to make a payment arrangement to pay one payment today and the full amount in 15 days. However, Toggle customer service only allows for full payment as soon as possible—either pay in full or have my policy canceled today. It's like dealing with loan sharks. I have to figure out how to pay this because of other unexpected bills. But I will definitely be looking for another insurance company. If this is how they treat customers online, I can only imagine what they are like when you have to file a claim. Not good.

If I could give Toggle zero stars, I would! The wait time to speak with someone is endless; nobody answers. I tried live chat, and it doesn't work either. I'm skeptical about doing business with them. I was grandfathered over to them from my other insurance company, and I'm not happy about it. Look elsewhere and avoid their mess.

I was forced to switch to Toggle after 21st Century Insurance merged/was bought out. I work from home and drive less than 4,000 miles a year. My full coverage rate with uninsured motorist, rental car reimbursement, comprehensive and collision was $200 a month for a 2021 Dodge Charger RT from 21st Century Insurance. When I received the renewal notice, Toggle wanted to charge me more than double. I have no tickets or accidents in more than 28 years of driving. Their excuse was, "Due to higher parts prices and more accidents, we had to raise rates." Unbelievable. I immediately went to GEICO and got the exact same coverage for $186.00 a month. Also, good luck trying to reach customer service; I was on the phone until it disconnected after more than 3 hours, and I waited on the "Live" chat for over 4 hours before giving up and trying another day.
