After speaking with a second customer service representative, I was assured that I would be contacted on the following Monday morning, but no call was received. Upon calling again, I learned that my card had been shipped the previous Friday, which was the same night I inquired about it, and it had not been expedited, extending the delivery period to 14-20 days. I attempted to have the $40 fee credited back to my account but was disconnected twice, leading to my extreme frustration. I am dissatisfied with the poor customer service, the long hold times, the lack of communication, and I eagerly anticipate switching banks.

They don't offer to let you leave a number and call you back. They DON'T estimate what the wait time will be. And they DO make you listen, while you're stuck on hold, to repetitive crap about all their services.
Why do companies think it's OK to make customers listen to their advertising propaganda, while we're stuck on hold waiting to talk to a "service" rep. ?????
Really RUDE and INCONSIDERATE? Do they want to listen to this crap while they're stuck on hold and trying to get work done?
I was compensated for the charges while being investigated. A month later, I was charged the $250 again saying it was a legit charge. It wasn't. I was told to take it up with the company that charged my card. No bid deal I guess. Called the company and they said they have tried to return my funds but can't because of the closed debit card. Long story short, I have been passed back and forth from bank to company. Company can't return my money to a card that's closed and homestreet won't help me collect my funds even though they can control my accounts. My money is now in limbo and homestreet says to file a small claims against the company and company says its my banks fault....which I agree...especially after all the hassle and misguidance from homestreet on filing a second dispute which was denied instantly.
Gonna find elsewhere to bank. $250 isn't alot to some, but it is still $250. Not happy with my experience lately.
I have no other money and theyre holding my paycheck for unknown reasons, telling me every day that the check will be there by midnight and I want everyone to know!
The only downside i saw to Homestreet bank is if you want to split your payment up between the 1st and 15th of the month or whatever days you choose, they require you to use a 3rd party payment services, which charges you a fee to use. While it would have been nice to split up my payment, I would rather not have to pay another person for an already very expensive object. Overall I will still give them 4.5/5.0 stars because I do not think that the 3rd part part should be used against them, however I do believe Homestreet would bring in more customers if they did not require you to use a 3rd part which costs the customer money.
