I wanted to acknowledge and commend Nick Colliver and Heather Smith from the Roanoke Valley View branch. They truly made my personal loan request AND APPROVAL the most pleasant and enjoyable business experience I have ever had. They listened to my needs and allowed me to ramble on and on about all the issues I was going through, and made me feel important to them and really WANTED my loan business, when I was constantly venting to them how frustrated I was with every other lender I had the misfortune of dealing with. I was particularly annoyed with Freedom First Credit Union, I currently have a vehicle loan with and never missed a payment in 2 years, put $8000 down to boot, and they would not give me a personal loan for only $3000. I told Nick that in 3 months when finally I start receiving my monthly social security benefits of $2566, that I'm going to be looking to get a newer vehicle and I would come to him for the loan...never again Freedom First, I only do business with those that help me. I am 70 years old and I got in way over my head with credit cards and Lendmark loan so I decided to enter into a debt relief program and try to pay off my debt with a discounted rate and it was something I could afford although it was still tight since all of my income is SSI, but that was not good enough for lendmark and they took me to court and what started off as 8000.00 is now 17900.00 because of them charging me 29.8% and late fees, they do not care about anybody or your financial situation, its a damm shame that at 70 I am thinking about ending it all due to MONEY AND GREEDY COMPANIES LIKE LENDMARK, SO PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY :(

Worst company ever borrowed $8000 on 6-7-2024 now as of today my payoff is still $6100 hard to pay off I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Interest rate too high.

This is specifically for the Lendmark in Lenoir City, Tennessee. They are relentless! They call and email constantly. I literally got an email on Friday the 13th, and my bill isn't even due until March 1st. I'm sure I'll get 2-3 phone calls between now and then, telling me that my bill is coming due. If you're a day late by as much as a day, they call nonstop and then call your references. I never had this issue with the Alcoa branch. Avoid the Lenoir City branch at all costs.

Took out a car loan in April 2025. On three occasions in nine months, LendMark has stated that my insurance was canceled or expired. All three times, the information was false. So I fear my vehicle will be repossessed based on their continually false information.

Landmark Financial Services were very helpful and professional in assisting with my concerns. The Glen Burnie Branch gives exceptional support (Ms. Holmes) a mark of excellence in dealing with customers. Thanks so much.

My experience with Lendmark has been terrible. I took out a small auto loan for about $7,800 and was given a 23.99% APR without the agent clearly explaining how much interest would be added upfront. Even with on-time payments, my balance somehow jumped to over $11,500, which I only discovered later. I had a co-signer with good credit and still ended up with an extremely predatory rate.

I feel misled and taken advantage of during a stressful time when I needed a car quickly. My desperation and lack of knowledge with loans and APR rates was definitely taken advantage of. Not only will this be my last time working with Lendmark, but I would not recommend Lendmark to anyone. I would highly advise you to look at other options!

They voluntarily, without your authorization, give you deferred months of payments, then expect you to accept them and extend your loan period. They are quick to say that they can take payment from cards on file and be insistent about taking it when you try to make a payment arrangement to the point that it’s annoying. How are you gonna tell a customer that you’re gonna take payment without their permission ? There have been employees who call and are not courteous or respectful and will subtly argue with you about payments.

I have been with Lendmark several years. Former management 4.0. New Management at this branch no -0. My auto company paid over $7000. The check cleared Lendmark. I was not credited in fact my amount increased the money was sent to Head office. My loan appeared higher and my credit score according went down 50 points in 3 days. Run away from this branch as fast as you possibly can 🏃🧑‍🦼

It's a joke; can't reach corporate, Kendra is no help. I can't do a voluntary repo; I'm a senior citizen, not able to financially help. She's been treating me like a child for years.

Highly do not recommend, if you're a co-signer, they go after just your wages, not the other party's. Then, when you go to court about it, they say they were unaware of the other person you co-signed with, was even on the policy. Beware, especially of the Canton, GA office.

Easy process. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Jonathan was very helpful. I thank Lendmark and Jonathan. I received the money in less than 24 hours.

If you have less than perfect credit and have a paid-off vehicle to secure your loan, Lendmark Financial is your solution. LMF has provided me with two loans when I needed emergency funding.
