Lendmark Financial Services Reviews
What's Your Rating?
This place practices predatory lending in my experience with them. I started making weekly payments to them to pay more towards the principle amount. They have consistenly ripped me off between how much of my payment goes toward principle and interest. I have another loan with Mariner FINANCE and I have NEVER EVER had an issue with them. While interest is high the right amount gets applied to interest and priciple every month without any discrepancy. BE VERY WEARY OF LENDMARK FINANCE. They will do everything in their power to lock you in for as long as possible. Always pay close attention to your payment activity. THEY ARE NOT YOUR FRIEND!!! BEWARE OF THIS BUSINESS. IT'S A SHAME THESE PLACES ARE EVEN ALLOWED TO DO BUSINESS. SHAME ON THEM!!!
I do not recommend this company to anyone based on my family's experience, for a few reasons. 1- They give everyone the same interest rate when buying a storage building from Anderson Building, whether your credit is good or bad. 2- They waited until we had paid the entire bill off, then called me the next month and told me that I owed money for late payments from months ago. 3- They are not consistent! It's a different story every month (no late fee because we moved your due date, there will be a late fee). We have never missed a payment! We were late but paid within the same month. My husband had a heart attack twice while doing business with LendMark, and we still made the payments; we couldn't make them on the due date but we made them! I asked them to change the due date and was told that the dates were changed due to his condition. I had one more payment in September because I confirmed it in August. They called in September saying that I owed over $200.
I asked why, and she said for late fees! Late fees, even when my due date was changed to the end of the month (29th). She and I went back and forth about the dates a few times, so they stopped calling me and just took another $131.00 from my husband today. LendMark, this is not right! You will be losing customers because what goes around comes around.
