This company is one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with!!! If I could select no stars for poor rating I would have!!! They are so lazy and unorganized! 1 representative takes their inquiry calls after being on hold for an hour. They never can tell you anything when you call, just someone will call you back within 48-72 hours. Never got called back! It took 2 months for them to process the first part of my claim after calling them repeatedly! Now it is taking them 3 months to process the continuation! Yet they have no problem deducting the money on time out my paycheck after I returned to work after being out 4 months with no pay, cause they took so long helping me! Warning please do not sign up with this horrible company whose representatives are just poor lazy! A disgrace to people who are in need of their money in a timely fashion!

Is there a 0 rating? They do not even deserve the 1 star I had to select. It's the Customer Service for me. I am canceling my policy. Oh my...one guy Juliean a supervisor calls himself Corporate was so cold and rude and Liz the agent acted as if I interrupted her breakfast with her one word response. If this is your job then treat customers like they are a guest in your profession. I would not expect you to come to my place of employment and know how it operates. When your customers have questions answer them do not blow them off or give short answers this implies to me... your knowledge is limited. At first I thought it was me, on this site about 100+ people are saying the same thing about Customer Service. My bad I should have read the ratings prior. When you know better you are charged with doing better.

Absolutely terrible company if you have a claim. They will fight tooth and nail to not pay. They also hire independent adjusters that will make sure it’s as low as possible hoping you don’t actually fix it so there’s a ton of supplementing to do.

This company clearly does not care about their customers. Their customer service is awful! My husband and I had a 20 year term life insurance policies that was set "renew". We received a notice in the mail with the new monthly premium. It was more than 3X what we were paying before.They never asked any health questions, just gave us an absurd renewal premium. I called around and was able to get quotes from other agencies for only a few dollars more that what we were paying now. When i called and spoke with a representative at American National he told me that i was more than welcome to shop around for a new policy. Didn't even try to work with me to negotiate a new premium. He was rude and argumentative. Needless to say we are going with another agency.

I asked to surrender my policy since March, all kinds of run arounds, had to keep resubmitting paperwork. They Never call you back, always have to call to find out new paperwork (stall tactics) or 7-10 Business days umm we were on the 21st business day, now its give the other dept a whole 7-15 days now to process. Just received today another monthly letter asking for payment but was told this the third rush they put on our policy.

Terrible customer service, communication. Filed claim for wind damage, after it was inspected by Roofing Contractor. They hardly called, communicated what was going on. Sent adjuster out to inspect. At the time I thought adjuster denied claim. Asked ANPAC to work with/communicate with contractor, never did, not once. Claim denied. I then immediately asked for a re-inspect and that they work with my contractor. ANPAC sent out a "roofing engineer". Contractor and engineer spoke on the roof for 30 min and talked about the different slopes and roof wind damage. Weeks later I get a phone call from ANPAC telling me they are denying the claim, that the engineer reported no wind damage. Fast forward a week and I am now shopping around for a company to replace my roof on my dime. Talking with a company, they actually use the same insurance adjuster as ANPAC did. Turns out he told ANPAC to approve the roof for wind damage. ANPAC changed the outcome to deny. I mentioned wind damage, but now I found out I have defective/discontinued recalled shingles. ANPAC is the worst company. Nothing but problems. Now working with new contractor to fight against them. A;lso, filing a claim through the office of insurance commi

We've had several bad storms from hurricane in the past couple of years. I would always let time pass and forget to call insurance agency. One day we had a storm with bad hail and wind (even left dents in my car). I have a video of the roof shingles blowing up, and the hail hitting it. So my husband posted the video on facebook, and of course a friend of a friend of a friend said we may want to get it checked out. HE came by and got on the roof with my husband to tell us if it would be worth a shot to turn into the insurance company, and he did think so. We called and made a claim. Their customer service was horrible. they immediately treated us like we were bad guys, or like we were lying about possible damage. They finally sent someone out to inspect our roof...some outsourced sompany. He said the damage was man made. I was blown away... My husband, nor I would ever allow something like that to occur. We had been in the home for 3 years, and my husband was the only person on the roof, besides the one day the roofer came out, and my husband was up there watching him. so they ended up sending someone else out to inspect, weeks later, after I had to call over and over, still being treated like a piece of crap! I spoke to that inspector from another company and he said "their is definitely wind damage, and I don't know why they said anything was man made". I was relieved the truth was coming out. Well, we wait and wait, and a week later I call to see whats going on and the adjuster was like "oh yea, Ive been meaning to call you" I need to ask you some questions AGAIN. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I was ALWAYS having to call them. Then like another week later I called them back to see what was going on and she said "we are denying your claim due to man made damage". I was blown away and was not nice to her at all! I was like "were yall EVER going to call me?" No compassion, no advice, nothing! This is a roof from 2003. all of my neighbors roofs were replaced for damage, but NOPE not mine! I was honestly insulted! Never spoke to anyone more rude from the get go. They kept trying to ask questions like me and my husband had something to lie about! Im switching ASAP....the only reason I couldn't sooner is because they took forever to close the claim. BTW, when I opened the claim, I told them about water coming into my house at the ceiling...they completely ignored that claim, and offered to open ANOTHER one!! Im like "I guess we faked a leak so we could have water come into the walls too huh?" DONT SIGN UP WITH THEM!!!

Local, but not on your side... The problem with small companies like this is that they can't compete anymore, and so almost everyone is punished for that fact except a few that they deem to valuable to piss off. We never claimed ever until we had damage to our home after a storm. The claim was small, but they fought it every step of the way right from the beginning. They had people come to "inspect" that never actually inspected anything. They brought in "experts" from outside of our state that (surprise, surprise) ruled against us, even saying things that we not true. Local companies can't compete with big companies and have no choice but to fight you... go with a bigger company that believes in paying out when you need their help and you have legitimate claim. They exist. Farm Family... they're just horrible. I think they might be in financial trouble.
