I have had my account for 5 years, and never had I had been treated like the way I was treated this afternoon at 5:30 pm. The tellers were ignoring me as I asked the teller for the container to my check and DL, she ignored me, so I left and came back 5:50pm and went with the teller next to the window and she too ignored me. Finally she asks me how she can help me and I proceeded to tell her to deposit to my account, she hands me the 2 copies for me to sign 1 and when I grabbed the receipts she closed tray and continued to ignore me while smiling at the other teller, I had to tap
window so I can hand her the signed copy, and once again she had a smirk on her face, in which I told her they had RUDE MANNERS. I WILL LOOK FOR ANOTHER TO BANK WITH....

This business did not help. Took our hard earned money and will not give it back. The CEO Mr. Bailey has not called me back and the workers have been unkind, disrespectful and lack communication skills. You will be charged a fee and have to open an account and will not be given that money back. DO NOT TRUST THIS CREDIT UNION.

When I lived in Texas for a couple years I had a checking account with Naft Federal. A couple of friends said they did good business and can be trusted so I gave them a shot. They had the best customer service, arguably better than the big banks. I couldn't be more pleased with the way I was treated. Very professional and helped me with every question I had for them.
Great customer service as well. Overall they did excellent business!

On April 19, 2013 I opened a savings account with NAFT Credit Union in Pharr, Texas. I had been recommended this credit union by a couple of friends of mine who are teachers in nearby school districts. I wanted to see if what I had been told about their friendly customer service was true.

I finally decided to go in and open an account. I was immediately greeted by a very nice young lady who asked what she could do for me. I told her I was there to open an account and she immediately walked me over to their new accounts department and introduced me to Doris, a new accounts representative. Doris introduced herself and asked me to have a seat across from her desk. I was impressed by the awards Doris had accumulated over the years (they were hanging on her wall). Doris asked how my day was going and then proceeded to go over all the products that they offered. I explained to Doris that I was looking for something that was simple and didn't require a daily minimum balance. Doris then recommended their basic savings account which only required a minimum of $20.00 to open and that it was their most basic savings account. I chose that one. Doris simply asked for my social security card and driver's license and immediately started processing my application. Within a few minutes I was signing the documents which constituted the agreement of the savings account all the while talking about her activities within her community. I was most impressed by the fact that she had received an award for being an outstanding mentor at a local school district. I was also impressed by her professionalism, courteousness, and altruistic nature. From the time I walked into the credit union to the time I walked out, I can say that I had a wonderful experience and felt as if I was not just another number but an actual customer that they cared about. I will recommend NAFT credit union to my friends. I only wish the big box banks were like this...giving that personal touch. Kudos NAFT!
