Great service every time. Very professional and caring. I have been banking since 2017. Every question answered promptly and with importance.
The bank itself is fine, but it seems like anytime I need to transfer my Own money I am met with maintenance notices and network errors (despite the status of my connection). I know that server maintenance is unavoidable but the frequency and previously mentioned lack of access to my money is unacceptable.
If you would like to ruin your credit score with their inefficient payment system, then apply for the SSFCU HELOC. The set-upped payment would not go through with no notice/email and 30 days later, you will get a letter plus losing 88 credit score.
ABSOLUTELY TRASH SERVICE. I’m two hours from a branch and called to inquire about my account. I was requesting statements to verify my account number because they stopped sending them to me. They couldn’t request a mailed statement because they needed the account number. That’s why I’m calling to get the accountant and you’re feeding me a self licking ice cream cone. Don’t be enticed by their services since they don’t understand how their services work. Damn trash pandas
This company is the worst. I have to call if I want information cause no emails are returned and no calls were made to me throughout the entire process. They tell I have to hurry to sign up to lock in a rate. It was never locked in till signing. I was told it would be done by the end of April. It’s the end of the day on June 8th and I’m told it will take a few more weeks. What is so unbelievably unethical is nobody ever calling or emailing me anything. I have told them 5 times I need someone that knows what’s going on to please call me and it haven’t happened once. Would never use this company again nor would I suggest others use their services.
Mrs. Abby Guajardo with SSFCU located at 5750 W Loop 1604 N culebra rd. San Antonio TX helped me tremendously with my financial situation. I was trying to open up a new checking and saving account with ssfcu and she was not only able effectively help me with that but she also provided me with additional helpful options I did not know about that I took advantage of to better aid my situation. Thank you Abby!! You made my experience at SSFCU amazing! Godbless! - Travis
We have been banking with SSFCU since the 1990's. They have been an outstanding financial institution for us!! The Consumer loan department went well above and beyond to get us our loan quickly! All businesses have suffered as a result of the Covid. SSFCU is still making things happen even with a short staff!! Cut them a break people!!! We would highly recommend SSFCU for any financial needs!
I absolutely love banking with SSFCU. I wouldn't do business with any other financial institution. From the tellers to mortgages to the way I'm always treated when I walk in...it's 5 star treatment. I recently shifted money from a CD to another account. Brianna took care of me with a smile and took the time to answer my questions and update some paperwork. I didn't even ask for this. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was in order. She even double checked her work...so impressive. The teller also took the time to show me that everything was done to my benefit. I love the Fountain, Colorado branch. Very special people.
Security Service FCU credit cards can offer an APR between 10.24% and 18%, depending on your creditworthiness and what card are you applying for. The interest rate is fixed, though, so it won't change because of economic conditions.
Here's a list of Security Service FCU credit cards and their APRs:
Security Service Power Mastercard®: 11.24% to 18.00%
Security Service Power Rewards Mastercard®: 16.50% to 18.00%
