When I bight this home all of the paperwork, financing and in the purchase, went seamlessly. Northpoint bank, home loans purchased the mortgage from another company. And that also went without any problems.
Do NOT use these people. Troy Williams did a horrible job for my friend--made him pay off $25k on a loan and said there were no issues, but didn't even check the little things. They lost their loan due to the easiest of catches. They did nothing to help in any way, just said, 'sorry it didn't work out.'
Poor Integrity, Low Trust, Bad Business Practices. We were working with a wonderful loan agent named Meghan who really went above and beyond to help us secure our loan. We'd recently paid off close to $100g in debt after selling our home and Meghan worked hard to submit for a rapid rescore that would negate waiting 30-60 days for the credit score to update with the bureaus. Following submission to the "higher-ups" at Northpointe, the request to perform the rapid rescore was denied due to it would have cost the company a little money ($600) upfront. We were 100% all in previous to learning that this company will not do anything above and beyond for their customers and they certainly do not respect their agent's requests to do what's best for their clients. This experience left us feeling like we can't trust them now with a future mortgage. $600 is a miniscule amount of money when considering the hundreds of thousands in interest they would have made off of us. We will be taking our 780 credit score somewhere else now. Thanks for nothing, Northpointe Bank. All you gave us was three weeks of wasted time.

This is the worse bank I have ever felt with Dan M is a complete rude liar! Diane H is just incompetent she ran my wife’s b date wrong and now has our credit froze so we can buy our new home now. And yes we confirmed this with equifax. Run far run fast and just use your local credit union!

The agent restarted my loan process without asking. I lost the good interest rate. She avoided contact for nearly a month after saying she would fix this. I had to shake a lot of trees to get the agent to start reading email and returning calls. When she finally reached out she claimed she had fixed things - and at a better interest rate.
When I got the papers to sign the interest rates and closing costs were MUCH higher, even though had I signed & completed the original paperwork for the loan they had agreed on.
I was taking this loan out for a medical issue for my girl in need of pre-transplant surgery. Not only did the agent switch the loan terms, but this loan was supposed to be completed over a week ago.
My rate lock has expired now, and I should never have turned down offers from more reliable & trustworthy agents. Do yourself a favor and go with someone else.
This is an awful bank, as far as customer relations go. (They are the only bank that I have ever dealt with that calls their savings accounts, checking accounts. That fact initially should have been an indicator of this bank). If there was a rating < 1-star, this bank would get it. In a nutshell in < 1-month I had a balance in the mid 6-figure savings account range. In emails I indicated to Chuck Williams (CEO) and Billy Clancy (Retail Banking) that their bank policy of 5-days before an external deposit showed up into my account was, by far, the longest time period of any bank, with which I had banked in my 45 year commercial lending career. When I offered constructive criticism in several emails, they--probably Billy Clancy--closed my account. A day or so later, I received a check for the balance via UPS, and then another day or so later I received a FORM LETTER in the mail that stated that they thanked me for my suggestions, and would be looking into them. I don't know about the quality of the overall upper management staff of Northpointe, but I do know that the CEO and the retail banking employee are way over their heads in attempting to handle their responsibilities. Because they are absolutely awful in customer relations, I question whether either of these 2 employees would have what it takes to be a bank manager, much less a CEO or head of retail banking.

Worked with John Moore from the Jeff Chisum Team. Was pre-approved for a property after giving the lender the address and MLS number which clearly showed and described the condition of the property. Paid for an inspection and got under contract only to have John EMAIL me that we would not qualify based on the property's condition. I tried calling and was told to email back. To which I sent 2-3 emails asking that my lender call me, to which he only responded with one sentence communication back. Their loss, I received a much better loan somewhere else but will never work with that team ever again for my investment property needs, and would not recommend them.
Northpointe Bank is a very toxic place to work at. The management does not care about you, and they contribute to the toxic culture that is there. Everyone gossips, backstabs, and puts people down. People are very fake and they feel the need to make your business, their business. They have zero compassion or empathy, and the management picks the side of the people that gossip. Awful place to work at.

Working with Goose was awesome! Incredibly fast and efficient from beginning to end of the house buying process. The level of professionalism and willingness to work with the other parties involved to adapt and overcome a few obstacles. I will be working with Northpointe Bank and Goose for future building projects.
