I joined Oak Trust right out of college when I wanted to buy my first car. I knew nothing about Credit Unions at the time, but they made me comfortable right away. They are smaller than your "big" banks, but that is a good thing. I developed personal relationships with the folks who worked at my local branch. If any issue arose, they attended to it quickly. I never had to type of relationship with a bank. I was with them for over 15 years. Unfortunately this past summer they were bought out by another credit union. I was very disappointed to hear this. Overall, I bought 3 cars through loans from Oak Trust, had a checking and savings account. In all that time, only one major issue arose in regard to one of my loans. I was able to sit right down with an account rep and he quickly resolved it right then and there. I will miss Oak Trust. I fully recommend them for all your needs.
