I live on a fixed income, and every time my account drops below $50, they charge me a $40 overdraft fee. I do not recommend this credit union to anyone.

holy crap, they're terrible. The website is broken. statements have the account number crossed out. can not reach a rep. long hold times. unintuitive payment process. Are they even a real company?

Trying to get anyone on the phone is impossible. I actually had to drive to the Credit Union ( 20 miles round trip ) to make an appointment and then 2 days later I had to come back for that appointment. The teller I talked to had a mayor attitude when I asked her why no one answered the phones anymore. I been a customer there for over 40 years but I think it is time to switch banks. Things are really not the same anymore . 1 months later now and I still can't get anyone on the phone after said teller told me they are working on it. From the other reviews I read everywhere this has been going on for a few years now.

Fraudulent charges terrible customer service to get them taken off. Do not use or trust this bank. You can't make online payments unless you have a checking account with them. If you dont have one they will spam your email and mail constantly.

I do not recommend getting any loans through this lender. If there is some sort of discrepancy, when you call the main number to get help the call center has nothing but rude, ignorant people working who make you feel as though it is your fault. I have had two issues where I kept getting late notices on my loan when in fact I did pay them. When asking about why it has the loan as delinquent on my credit report (when in fact it was not) and how to get it off my credit report - the woman on the other end of the phone just says "you can't." She then says that I'd have to file a dispute. Good thing I kept all the receipts of payments made. DO NOT TRUST THIS CREDIT UNION.

I am absolutely thrilled with People First Credit Union services. I came to them as a recommendation from friends of mine, and I couldn't have been more pleased with the decision. They were fair to me, their rates are competitive, and I got everything done in about an hour. Whenever I have had any issues, they have been prompt with resolution, which is hard to come by in today's society. I have had a personal loan with them (now retired) and have both a savings and checking account as well. They even pay a little more interest than other institutions in the area. Overall I get a great local feeling with this place, because it's smaller, one doesn't seem like just a number (or several of them) in any dealings. I will be sticking with this institution for a long while.

People First Federal Credit Union has fair policies for its customers. Their customer service representatives and friendly and helpful. My husband and I have a savings account with People First that was opened many years ago. At that time, his employer was affiliated with the credit union. Employees could make contributions to savings accounts and the company would match their contributions. After this policy changed, we kept the account open because we enjoyed working with People First Federal Credit Union. I recommend the credit union to anyone who wants an institution that is easy to work will, has fair rates and good policies.

I have held an account with People First Credit union for over 10 years, and I am excited to give feedback for this organization. During the 10 years that I have held this account I have had several occasions that my account was at risk of being in the red. During these times I was contacted by the credit union and informed of the potential effects of this occurring. I was very pleased of this proactive approach that they take in regards to that. I am also very happy with all of the tellers that work at People First. I am always greeted with a smile and respect.
