Ridgewood Savings Bank

I had a great experience at Ridgewood Savings Bank in Breezy Point thanks to the outstanding help from Stacey and Jeanette. They were incredibly patient and supportive, guiding me through the entire process of filling out paperwork. Their professionalism and friendly attitude made everything much easier, and I truly appreciated their dedication. Thank you both for sticking with me every step of the way!

I was at Ridgewood Banks on Sedgwick Ave in the Bronx. I had a mix-up with my mom's and my account. We were treated like family by the associate named Fiona Watkins. I will never bank anywhere else. She was kind, patient, and very courteous with my elderly mom and myself. She is what all bank employees should strive to be. I will not go to any other branch except the Sedgwick Avenue branch. That young lady took my anxiety away when she helped me

I have been a depositor at Ridgewood for over 35 years and have been pleased with their service until last year, when a fraudulent check was cashed on my account. I caught the fraud, not Ridgewood. I was refunded the amount and directed to change to a new account, which left me satisfied. However, my bill pay account has recently become extremely problematic, with checks being doubled without my direction, errors that I discovered, not Ridgewood. There was no failsafe to prevent these issues. Currently, I am unable to use my bill pay due to repeated blocking messages from Ridgewood bill pay staff. During an in-person visit, I was told that a large, duplicate bill pay amount would be returned to me after four days. It seems someone is deliberately hindering my use of this account. I was informed that Ridgewood does not use AI, leaving me without an explanation for this current issue. This has caused me great inconvenience, and I am very disappointed with Ridgewood, especially as it is an FDIC agency from which I expect professional business conduct. The rest of the staff are professional and capable; it is only the bill pay department that needs better oversight and accountability.

I just visited Breezy Point Bank. The staff is exceptional. They always greet customers politely and professionally. It is an absolute pleasure to bank here. Our world doesn't understand the meaning of customer service, but this bank gets it. THANKS

I have been a very long-time customer and I'm so grateful for all their hard work and services. They demonstrate professionalism and truly care about the customers. The main branch has a long way to go to achieve a friendly atmosphere! I went in and stood at the customer service desk next to a guard, wearing a mask and looking straight ahead. I wondered how long I would have to wait before he would ask me what I was there for. The answer is forever!

I just opened an IRA account with Marina Tur in Forest Hills. It was a very pleasant experience. It was handled quickly and professionally. I highly recommend Ms. Tur and the bank.

Kathy Solero at the Whitestone Branch is the best retail customer service person/teller my family has ever seen. She has been with RSB over 40 years and has provided all of us with excellent, friendly, caring and knowledgeable service for our banking needs as they have evolved over 40 years LOL. We have been extremely satisfied with thr excellence of customer service and the handling of all our financial needs. Our recent experience withe your representative INDIA M. has been wonderful. Opened up a checking account today on McLean Ave in Yonkers NY. I had the pleasure of working with Sabina Loncarevic. She was behind the counter and saw no one was out on the floor and helped me right away! She was extremely knowledgeable and truly a dedicated professional with the most pleasing personality. She is very caring and considerate. She made the process seamless and answered all my questions. She was very polite and patient. I highly recommend this associate if you visit this branch. The branch on Sedgwick Ave, Bronx is my neighborhood branch. I met Shantie, the new branch manager, yesterday. Like all the staff at this branch, she is approachable, knowledgeable, and caring. This is a branch like you would expect to find in Mayberry of old or as in Cheers, where everyday knows your name.

My accounts were hacked resulting in a negative balance. I went to the Hollis branch. Ms. Hasina Begum greeted me. She took the necessary measures to launch an investigation ultimately getting all my money restored within 24 hours. She submitted all necessary paper work; openned new bank accounts; alerted any businesses with auto debit. She spent almost 2 hours intervening on my behalf. The whole time remaining professional, cordial, with a wonderful caring attitude. Confident in her ability, I remained calm. Hasina called me the next morning to inform me my money was retrieved!
