What's Your Rating?
I would recommend this lender to anyone interested in a conventional mortgage.
This guy has no interest in getting your business and will end up making you feel very dumb if you ask ANY questions.
Their sign says, "it's just easier here".....no, it is just more EXPENSIVE here! I accidentally went negative in my account and couldn't get to the bank for a couple of days..not only was I charged $36 in overdraft fees but an ADDITIONAL $8 PER DAY! Seriously? I have a whole week until I get paid and these fees will eat up my whole part-time paycheck. Guess I'll be closing this account once I give them my paycheck and maybe more if I get charged another $36 on top of all the other fees because a week will go by before I get paid. Sad, just sad that a bank profits off the public like this...got to keep all the billions of dollars in fees rolling in to keep the fat bankers rich.

What credit score is needed for a Republic Bank credit card?
Republic Bank doesn't disclose what credit score is needed for their credit cards. Your score will be just one of the many factors taken into consideration when the issuer looks at your application. Your income, amount of debts, and payment history will all be relevant in determining your eligibility for a new account.
If you're new to credit or trying to rebuild your credit, choose the Republic Bank Secured card. This card offers the best approval odds because it requires a security deposit for opening a new account. Otherwise, you can apply for either the Personal Cash Rewards or the ScoreCard Rewards credit card, which are both unsecured.

Does Republic Bank offer credit-builder loans?
Yes, Republic Bank offers credit-builder loans. Republic Bank has credit-builder loans of $500-$1500 with an APR range of 5.3% - 8% and repayment periods of 12 - 24 months. To apply for a credit-builder loan from Republic Bank, you need to be at least 18 years old, have an Social Security number and valid form of identification and savings account.
With a credit-builder loan, Republic Bank puts a sum of money into an interest bearing account for the “borrower.” That person then pays the lender in monthly installments, plus interest, and receives the money in the savings account at the end of the loan term.
Republic Bank also offers other options to improve your credit if you think a credit-builder loan isn't right for you, like personal loans or credit cards.
