This bank is unethical, I disputed a cashapp that I did not authorize. Because I received my mail late and missed the date to confirm on paper what I stated on the phone, they took the money back and refused to let me appeal their decision. Therefore I will no longer be using them for direct deposit nor will I use them ever again. I want a bank that will have my back not keep my money the first chance they get.
God awful long drawn out process, so many hoops to jump through to get a $1000 loan only for them to decline me for the time being because I switched bank accounts 2 weeks ago and couldn't provide a full 1 month statement- they want a statement dating back 1 month but refused to accept a statement from my previous bank, instead told me to call back in 2 weeks. Meanwhile, they are keeping all of my information on file because "it's required by federal law".

With The Market The Way It Is They Worked With Me To Put Me in My First Home. They Are An Answer To A Prayer. And I Absolutely Love Being A Home Owner
Best bank ever! On point! If i am out of town and use my debit card, they text me to make sure I am actually making the transaction. If an uncommon or unusual transaction appears they text me for conformation. Dang! Customer service to the 10th power!
Locked in my refi interest rate once they told me we were clear to proceed and would be able to accommodate my loan with no problem. Then a couple days later the Fed bumps up interest rates and they start saying I don’t qualify due to Federal regulations, yet two other Banks have told me that isn’t true and I qualify. But of course now I’m stuck at a higher rate because of the interest rate hike Republic wanted to avoid. Save yourself time and frustration and go somewhere else.
I received an offer in the mail that followed all the steps. I offered a LOT of personal information, more than I have ever had to, to apply for a line of credit. In the end, I still had to "verify" all my information for banking and my ID. I did so, all documents were exactly as requested, and they still denied the application due to being "unable to verify" my documents. I contacted support via email; they referred me to contact via phone (888). I called and spoke with a rep; she repeated exactly what was on my rejection letter: they were "unable to verify" my information. Very frustrating, I had a hard hit on my credit due to this experience, extremely disappointed and will never refer others to this company.

The loan officers here are very rude, unhelpful and condescending. They take forever to respond to you, I had to play phone tag with ones that were assigned to me. If you ever attempt to get a mortgage through them and get the loan officer Brian Hawkins please take my advice and just walk away. This guy has no interest in getting your business and will end up making you feel very dumb if you ask ANY questions.
This was the worst refi transaction ever! Had to pay our insurance bill and escrow because they didn't transfer to the new mortgage. Can't get a reply for a reimbursement . Twice no one showed up for closing. To top it off my mortgage was sold to Wells Fargo in less than a week. Stay away from this company. They had no problem ringing my phone, now only crickets.
Their sign says, "it's just easier here".....no, it is just more EXPENSIVE here! I accidentally went negative in my account and couldn't get to the bank for a couple of days..not only was I charged $36 in overdraft fees but an ADDITIONAL $8 PER DAY! Seriously? I have a whole week until I get paid and these fees will eat up my whole part-time paycheck. Guess I'll be closing this account once I give them my paycheck and maybe more if I get charged another $36 on top of all the other fees because a week will go by before I get paid. Sad, just sad that a bank profits off the public like this...got to keep all the billions of dollars in fees rolling in to keep the fat bankers rich.
