I really appreciated my time spent with Dairyland auto insurance as they covered me when I needed SR-22 insurance for a DUI. The insurance itself was great. They offered discounts for paying several months in advance, it was extremely easy to make a payment, and with payments on time and time spent with the company I noticed my rate started to go down. It was a very pleasant surprise to be paying $30 less a month when I renewed with them. The only encumbrance was dealing through an insurance sales group that acted as a middle man. I would have liked to get directly to the source because they charged me brokerage fees and had a bad IT system that made things take too long over the phone. This had nothing to do with Dairyland, though. I cannot speak to payouts, because luckily I never was in a crash during the time I held their insurance.

Sentry Insurance really helped me out when I hit a deer in the fall of 2011. I totaled my car. Sentry really came through for me. They examined my car the next day. They called me the next day and asked me how I was and told me they would get a check to me right away. I think I received a check within a week. The check was over and above the amount that I thought I was going to get. I was very happy about that.

Sentry also did not drop me from their insurance, like most other insurance companies surely would have. They totally said this was a no fault accident. No points added to my records.
