I have been a member of this credit union for many years and I prefer them to handle my loan financing. I have financed several vehicles and I always get the best interest rates as well as the best customer service.
I recently purchased two new vehicles and I couldn't be happier with my experience. I worked with Savannah Horan and she was simply amazing! The entire experience was seemless and stress free. She made sure that all my needs were met and she answered all of my questions. She also followed up after the loans were closed, making sure I was happy. I can't thank her enough for everything. She is kind, professional, and exhibits excellent customer service skills.

I literally have nothing bad to say about Transcend, (formerly Kentucky Telco). I literally overdraft my account six times in one day and I simply gave them a call and got all $210 of my hard earned money back. They let you skip a payment on loans in December as well- that always came in handy when I financed through them. I’ve been with Them for about 14 yrs and I’ll probably never leave. I’m always satisfied with them! Highly recommend!

You can find a better bank. I’m not a fan of some of their policies and charges. Like I moved and because I didn’t tell them I got charged with a “bad address” fee. Or when I deposited my school check they will only release half of your check and then u have to wait 7 business days. In my case I have to wait 9 days to get the rest of my money. Customer service is the worst. They aren’t the most polite and it’s very obvious some of them hate their jobs.

WORST credit until to ever bank with, I do NOT recommend!!!!!! They TAKE YOUR MONEY!!!!!! They’ll make up “fees” and take out 5-35$ at a time and when you call and ask them about it, they say it’s a withdrawal from the atm, but my app says “withdrawal fee” when I have no withdrew.! Terrible terrible bank save yourself from them stealing your money !!! I will never bank with transcend AGAIN!!

A couple of years ago we made a deposit to our checking account at Kentucky Telco Federal Credit Union. For some reason the deposit did not post to our account. As a result we bounced two or three checks and were charged an overdraft fee. We contacted Kentucky Telco and after a couple of days they found a problem in their computer system. They fixed the mistake and removed the overdraft fee from our account. I’m glad I have my checking account at Kentucky Telco.

I've found KTFCU to be really good. They have a range of services that cover all banking angles. The checking account does what it's supposed to and has no fees or hidden charges to worry about. The staff at the Louisville branch I used were always pleased to see you and ready to help and the car loan I got from them was great – it had an interest rate of less than 2 percent. Worth mentioning to those who use online banking or want to have banking apps on their mobile phone that they have not yet got an online banking system set up. Overall, though I'd recommend them. The “family feel” of the service is great.
