I really appreciated Verizon's assistance the other day in completing my application process. They were very knowledgeable and I am grateful for their help. Whenever I needed to call back for clarification or send an email, their responses made everything much easier for me. I was very impressed with their work over the phone and I hope the in-store experience will be just as courteous. They have my 100% approval and I highly recommend their services. Thank you, Verizon.

I got ripped off. I put down a payment of $1500 to pay for one phone in full. The representative made two down payments for two phones, locking me into a contract with ridiculous fees, and I was overcharged thousands of dollars because of this.

I'm a loyal customer as of today, but I owe you $736. However, you are surreptitiously taking money from me every month with the surcharges and government fees. My plan is $90, plus my insurance at $27 a month, but I'm paying almost $200 a month for one line, and I have permitted this to continue. Not this month!!!

I canceled my service after twenty years of being a customer. Yet, they still billed me for next month's service and will not remove the charges.

Verizon placed a collection on me on my birthday, just as I started the home buying process, for an account I disconnected over a year ago due to excessive billing which they could never adequately explain. The extra fees resulted in two phone lines costing $300, $400, or $500 every month, with the amount increasing each time. When I noticed the collection, it stated that Verizon owned the debt. They train their representatives to falsely claim that they sold the debt to Burgess & Wolfe and noted on my account not to negotiate or provide a settlement amount, and to refer to Burgess instead. Despite insisting that Burgess did not own the debt and refusing to speak with them, they persisted in claiming otherwise. When I finally spoke to Burgess, they confirmed that they did not own the debt and that it was never sold to them, proving that Verizon was misleading. Nonetheless, I settled to continue with my closing process, and now they refuse to respond and update my credit report. Despite disputes and requests for a rapid rescore, they continue to claim the debt is unpaid and won't update it with TransUnion. I am at risk of losing out on my closing and my money due to their actions. I think I need to file a dispute for the settled account to recoup some of my losses, if they do not take the necessary actions to allow me to move forward. This experience has been an eye-opener, and I would caution anyone that Verizon has the worst phone service. They engage in deceptive practices and perform illegal tricks whenever they can. If you need phone service, I would suggest considering T-Mobile instead.

Very poor communication skills at the store from which I received my phone, I am sorry to say. As I understand, if your phone is lost, they replace it. So, I had a brand-new $600.00 phone that I lost on the first day. I also had insurance. I could not call the people they referred me to, so they sent me to the mall. The business they directed me to told me to tell them to stop sending people to them with insurance; they fix phones. Management offered no further help, so I went to Cricket. A year later, they've got me in collections, saying I owe them $773.00, trashing my credit score! Unbelievable!

They sent me to collections for unreturned equipment, but I have proof of returning it. They won't remove the collection and now have offered a settlement. I've disputed it twice with no success.

They are notorious for giving you a hard time disputing things. They use a lot of illegal practices when it comes to collections. You might have to get someone that knows how to get Verizon off for you they’re known to be difficult intentionally. T-Mobile sent them a check to pay off mine when i switched they lied and said they never received meanwhile T-Mobile can prove they actually cashed the check and everything.

Can you remove this from my credit report? It has been paid off in full. This should have been taken off my credit report a long time ago.

Verizon Wireless and their employees are the biggest scammers! They lie and hide! They ruin people's credit like they ruined mine, and they refuse to resolve this despite lawsuit notices. I tried to make a deal with them, but they lie and hide! Their corporate, executive, and all of their employees are illiterate, insubordinate, lack reading comprehension, and customer service, and I will complain until they do what I ask. Do not get any accounts with these money-hungry scammers!

I applied for a postpaid service; they said I didn't qualify, but I could get a prepaid account and that the phone I already owned would work. They mailed me a SIM card, and when I went to activate it, the SIM card did not work in the phone, so I was unable to activate the service, which was prepaid, not postpaid. This was in 2018, and now in 2024, I see this on my credit report indicating the account was open with a line of credit. I don't know for how much, but the information on my report states it is a line of credit, and the amount used was 0 dollars, yet I somehow owe 95 dollars. I have tried to dispute this with Verizon, the current creditor, and have disputed it twice, once with WalletHub and once with Credit Karma, all to no avail. I am becoming very frustrated. I did not qualify for any line of credit with Verizon, so why did they open a line of credit with 0 dollars used and then proceed to pursue me and harm my credit for 95 dollars? Please remove this fraudulent account. If I had qualified for a line of credit, I would have used it then or now, but I didn't and still don't, so it's not my account. Thank you.

As I have called multiple times to inform you, this is not me; I have never been this person. I have my own telephone and do not use credit. I am requesting and demanding that the derogatory marks on my credit for this account be removed and discarded because this does not pertain to me. If you continue to show it on my credit, I will take legal action against your company. I will sue you both individually and collectively, from your janitor to your CEO, until your corporation is in my possession with a free and clear title. Do you understand what I am saying? I have had enough problems with you. You don't listen; I've been hung up on and transferred to the point where I can no longer discern the destination because no one ever answers. I've been told to wait, but I am not waiting for you for 5 hours. I am not the person responsible for this and I am telling you to remove it from my credit now, or I will take legal action.

I have this Jefferson Capital collections issue on my report. I explained to them that this account isn't correct. I never had any services with Verizon. I was supposed to receive a free phone and plan as part of a promotional deal with Verizon. However, when I was finalizing the paperwork, they mentioned that it would still cost $250. I didn't have $250 at the time, so I told the representative that I wouldn't be able to get the phone plan after all. Six months later, I found Jefferson Capital on my credit report.

So far, so good. I was approved sometime around December 2023. Starting limit was $10,000, which I was, needless to say, good with. It's one of my lowest cards, SL or not. When I first signed up for account tracking and all at the Synchrony website for card transaction information, etc., and to pay the bill, the website, as a whole, in the beginning, for about two weeks, was strange, however, functional at best. After a while, I was able to change my due date to an earlier day that better suited my timeframe for payments. As other reviewers have stated, so far, they haven't decreased my credit limits. As a longtime individual with excellent credit history, if they do, that'll be a problem, and I'll address it then. I like the small perks it has, most though, like 4% on gas, I can forward the rewards to the bill, etc. So, I have to say, so far, so good. I will edit here if it turns bad. However, as long as I/you pay my bills, it better not, and it shouldn't.

I pay my bill on time every month, never a late payment. They dropped my limit and messed up my score! With the high interest and terrible service,I will not be keeping this card.

I did not owe Verizon any money at all. They are lying about me owing them anything. I returned the phone, and I had to pay an extra 50 dollars for a "reshelving" fee.
