You may be able to go over your Capital One Savor card credit limit when you make a purchase, but there's no guarantee it will work. Capital One decides whether to approve over-limit transactions on a case-by-case basis.
Even if a transaction over the limit is approved, it's not advisable to exceed your credit line. Although the Capital One Savor card does not charge an over-limit fee, going past your credit line will increase your credit utilization ratio, which can hurt your credit score.
If you need more spending power, consider paying down your balance or requesting a credit limit increase. You could also apply for a different credit card, and you can compare our editors’ picks for the best credit cards on the market to make sure you get the right one.
