The starting credit limit for a Greater New Orleans Federal Credit Union credit card is $100 for the Visa Secured Card. The credit union doesn’t disclose a starting credit limit for its other cards, like the Visa Platinum Card or the Visa Platinum Rewards Card. The Visa Platinum Student Card can have a first-year credit limit of up to $2,000 if you apply with a co-signer, but there’s no minimum disclosed.
It’s pretty common for credit card companies not to share their minimum credit limits, so that shouldn’t deter you from applying for a Greater New Orleans Federal Credit Union credit card, especially if you have a good relationship with them. Even if you start out with a lower limit, you should be able to request a credit limit increase down the road. And if you’re responsible with your card, you might even get an increase without asking.
