No, AAA does not have a grace period unless it’s required by state law, so it may cancel your policy as soon as you miss a payment. In states where there is a mandatory grace period, policyholders can pay their past-due premium within 10 to 20 days in order to prevent AAA from canceling their policy.
Consequences for Missing a AAA Car Insurance Payment
Cancellation Notice
AAA will usually send a notice of cancellation that includes the final date they will accept full payment before your coverage is canceled.
Penalties From the State
Since almost every state requires you to have car insurance, a lapse in coverage could lead to serious consequences, including fines and even a license suspension if you’re caught driving.
Insurance Premium Increases
A lapse in coverage may designate you as a high-risk driver and can make car insurance more expensive in the future, so you should pay your car insurance premium before the final cancellation date.

This is not true. Click this link and it will explain their 31 day grace period. “Yes. The grace period for policies varies by product, but is at least 31 days from the due date of your bill. If a premium is paid during the grace period, the premium is considered to have been paid on time and your coverage (including riders) remains in effect.” https://www.aaalife.com/faq
