You can call AAA four times each membership year for free roadside assistance, and each subsequent call will result in additional fees. This limit applies on an individual basis, so each family member on a plan can call for roadside assistance up to four times per year.
If you’ve already called for AAA roadside assistance four times within a membership year, you’ll be charged a service fee for any additional calls that involve basic membership benefits like towing under seven miles. For additional services beyond the basic membership level, including emergency fuel delivery and extensive vehicle locksmith services, you will need to pay the service provider directly on top of the basic fee charged by AAA.
