Yes, State Farm has glass coverage for customers with a comprehensive auto insurance policy. Glass and windshield repairs and replacements are covered through LYNX Services, State Farm’s third-party glass program administrator.
State Farm glass coverage repairs small breaks, such as bullseye, half-moon and star breaks, in the “non-acute area” of glass (not directly in front of the driver’s seat) – typically within 48 hours of a claim being filed. A mobile glass service technician can come to your home, office or any other location, or you can take your vehicle to an approved facility, where repairs typically take between 20 and 30 minutes.
State Farm also covers full windshield replacements if the damage is in front of the driver or too severe to repair. Replacements must be done in a repair shop, however.
To use State Farm’s glass coverage, file a claim online, contact your local agent, or call LYNX Services at 888-624-4410. The phone number for policyholders in Massachusetts is 800-526-8210. Your deductible may apply.
