You can correct an address on your credit report by filing a dispute with the credit bureau that produced the report. Keep in mind that credit bureaus maintain records of your previous addresses, so you should only file a dispute if a previous address is listed as current or if the current listed address is incorrect. You can expect the credit bureau to respond to your dispute within 30 days.
