@WalletHub
It's most likely one of your lenders updated your information with TransUnion. A good idea would be to check what addresses are listed on your Full Credit Report under Personal Information. As long as you see your correct address(es) listed, other variations being added or dropped should not be a concern. This can happen when things are listed under nicknames on your credit report. If you don’t see your correct address(es) listed, you will need to provide your lenders documents that show your current and accurate address(es). Once they change the information on your file, they will also report it to the credit bureaus, which typically happens once a month or at most 45 days. As a result, your credit report should be updated with the correct address(es). If more than 45 days pass since you have informed your lenders or if they already had the correct information, you will need to file a dispute with each of the credit bureaus that shows the inaccurate information. You can find out more about disputing credit report errors here.
