I am a current customer, and can verify, you can only get your full account balance, from filling out a feedback form on their website, for them to contact you back at their leisure, or by calling into them. No other way. And, you don't get your full balance on your monthly statement mailed to you. No balance on your statements, no balance on their webpage, no balance in their app.
Yes and this is RIDICULOUS!! They only want you to make a payment! All roads lead to only that! Stupid and beyond frustrating! I’m going to get another loan just to pay this loan because this company sucks!
@paulb_376: Except... trying to get a paper statement is a fight in and of itself. And then when you do get your paper statement, they only show the principal balance with an asterisk saying it isn't the current balance. Yet, they tell you they can't put the total balance on the statement, because it isn't the current balance... Strike you as odd? The principal balance isn't current, they'll give you that, but not your total balance, that isn't current... And all extra payments go to interest balance, nothing to principal. Only time principal balance goes down is if there is 0 interest balance.
Enerbank benefits from having low payments with large interest over time. "under the radar, minimalist website" . No. 1 loan to make extra payments on and get the paper statment!

No, you cannot. They have been saying on Yelp since 2016, and other websites since 2012, that they look forward to showing balance online. I am a current customer in 2021, and they are saying the exact same thing since 2012. They are "looking" forward to the webpage having the account balance. 9 years, still no progress on that. The app also does not show balance, nor does your monthly statement mailed to you. The ONLY way you can get your full account balance is to either fill out the feedback form on their webpage, for them to contact you back at their leisure, when they want to, or you have to call them. You cannot see it any other way, at all.
You can't check your balance either on the app or their web site. What kind of screwed up bank won't even let you check your balance??
There is NO WAY to check your balance online! The only way to get your balance is by calling customer service and talking to a person. Be prepared to wait on hold for quite awhile. Per their paper statements, you can email them, but be prepared to not receive a response. Steer clear of this bank!
