You can gift Marriott points to another member by logging into your Marriott Bonvoy account and going to the "Gift Points" page. Gifting the minimum of 1,000 points costs $12.50, and you can send points in increments of 1,000, up to 150,000 points per year. You may also be able to get a discount if Marriott is running a promotion on gifted points.
How to Gift Marriott Points to Another Member
- Go to Marriott's "Gift Points" page and log in to your account.
- Select how many points to send as a gift to another person from the drop-down menu.
- Enter the recipient's name, email, and Marriott Bonvoy membership number, then click "Continue."
- Review your order, enter your credit or debit card details, and confirm the purchase.
Typically, the points will be credited to your recipient’s account within 72 hours of completing the transaction. New members can start buying and gifting Marriott Bonvoy points 30 days after joining the program.
Alternatively, if you already have points in your account and wish to gift them, you can transfer points to another member. You can transfer as few as 1,000 points, and Marriott doesn't charge any fees for it.
