Hyatt points cost 2.6 cents per point, meaning that 10,000 Hyatt points will cost you $260. You can buy a minimum of 2,000 points for $52, and then purchase additional points in increments of 1,000, up to 55,000 points per calendar year.
You can buy Hyatt points by going to the World of Hyatt website and selecting “Pay now.” In some cases, you may be able to buy points at a discount during a promotional period.
Cost to Buy Hyatt Points
| Number of Hyatt Points | Cost of Buying |
| 2,000 | $52 |
| 10,000 | $260.00 |
| 20,000 | $520.00 |
| 30,000 | $780.00 |
| 40,000 | $1,040.00 |
The values in the table reflect the standard price when no promotions are available.
Buying Hyatt points is not worth the cost. However, if you need to buy Hyatt points, using the Hyatt credit card is the best approach, as you'll earn extra Hyatt points on top of the ones you purchase with your card. You'll get the most value from your points if you redeem them for award stays, but you can also use your points for car rental with Avis, dining, spa treatments, and more.
