Marriott Bonvoy points can be redeemed for various options, such as free nights at Marriott hotels, car rental, cruises, gift cards and brand-name products, redeeming for miles with partner airlines, or donating your points. However, the best value for your points is typically achieved when redeeming them for free nights.
Marriott rewards points do expire after 24 months of inactivity, and delaying redemption can put you at risk for rewards devaluation. So, you should use your Marriott points as often as possible.
