You can only transfer Hyatt points by accessing the Hyatt transfer website, downloading the designated form, and emailing it to Hyatt for processing. Upon receipt, approval and processing of the transfer request may take approximately two to four weeks.
How to Transfer Hyatt Points
- Get the request form: Visit the World of Hyatt website and download the “Point Combining Request form.”
- Fill out the "Point Combining Request Form": Provide details such as your name, World of Hyatt membership number, phone number, mailing address, and email. Include the corresponding information for the recipient of the points as well.
- Authorize the Transfer: Specify the number of points to be transferred and sign the form along with the recipient to confirm authorization.
- Submit the Form: After filling out the form, email it to [email protected] to initiate the points transfer process.
Once your transfer request is processed, you will receive a confirmation email. Ensure you retain this confirmation for your records in case any issues arise.
Transfer Details to Consider
- Transfer Fees: There are typically no fees associated with transferring Hyatt points.
- Recipient Requirements: The recipient must be a World of Hyatt member and have an account in good standing to receive transferred points.
- Point-Combining Frequency: A Member can engage in a point-combining transaction (either transferring or receiving points) once every 30 days.
Convert Hyatt Points to Airline Miles
You can also convert Hyatt points to airline miles with participating transfer partners. This conversion can be done at a ratio of 2.5:1 with most programs, meaning you get 1,000 airline miles for every 2,500 Hyatt points. Notably, this service is available with 25 participating airlines.
