The C.O.T. code stands for Cost of Transfer, which is allegedly needed to complete questionable international wire transfers, but please be wary, as this is most likely a scam. You need to have the routing number or code of the bank and the account number of the recipient to complete interbank transfer of funds, but you should not have to pay anyone to obtain that information. You may want to contact someone at your home bank and find out what is really happening here.

When it come to trading I should pay for cot code confirmation before I receive my profit
I have done a few money transfers for someone. He gave me his account information and provided the codes needed for the transfers. I have not given him any of my account information. The transfers don't seem fraudulent. Scam?
