I was referred to this credit union by my daughter. I opened a checking account with the bank representative Isabella. She was very helpful and professional. She helped me open an account and complete some paperwork I needed. Her politeness and kindness were very appreciated. I will definitely recommend this bank to my friends. Thank you, Isabella, for a job well done.

Employee Kesha at the Sugarloaf branch is great. She took her time with me, answered all my questions, had a great attitude, and explained all the advantages of my new accounts. I'd definitely recommend Delta Community Credit Union for all your banking needs and what you want out of banking with them.

I went into the branch to deposit my income tax check; I even gave them the check stub. It's been 7 days, and they won't release my funds. I let them know that I took the day off so I could buy a car, but now I have to wait 5 more days. I should've stayed with Baxter Credit Union. I switched to them so I could have a branch that I could go into. I've been a member for 5 years; this is crazy.

Unbelievably terrible customer service. I opened an account online and tried to link one external account; DCCU's system ended up linking several accounts. I called to unlink them, and I was told it couldn't be done. I tried to close the account, and I was told that couldn't be done either without visiting a branch. Absolutely no effort to solve my problem in any way. This place is awful.

Not sure what is going on with DCCU's fraud department, but year after year, my DCCU debit Visa card has been compromised. The bank never has a satisfactory explanation, only making me wait a week for a new card and PIN to start over. This has become an annual occurrence of fraud with my card. I rarely use it and avoid outdoor gas stations and similar places, yet it still happens. So much for the security of the chip, considering I only leave the debit card in my wallet. I have never had this issue (not even once) with the many other bank and credit cards I've held in my wallet for over 40 years. I've been with DCCU since the 80s, and I think their security processes haven't evolved since, though the most fraud has occurred in the last five years. It has to be the bank, as none of my other accounts experience any of this. Perhaps it's an internal employee?

I have an issue with the refer-a-friend program. The $50.00 never happened for either of us. Now, I have to do DCCU's job and track everything back, to email DCCU with documentation. How is this right? I am actually happy with DCCU, yet I do believe the refer-a-friend program is a gimmick. You are not allowed to make mobile deposits for the first thirty days, nor do ATM deposits; all deposits have to be in person, which I wasn't aware of. Yet, you have sixty days to have everything done in order to qualify. I made sure that we qualified, and still nothing; no extra $50.00 for either party from the program that we participated in.

I've been using this bank since high school for almost five years and never had a problem until recently. I called the bank to tell them that the transactions being made were by me, trying to send someone $500 on the 3rd of July through Zelle. The bank, of course, put the $500 on hold and sent me a message stating that the $500 would return on the 4th, which it did. I tried making a transaction again on the 5th, but of course, the bank put it on hold. I had to confirm again that it was 'me'. Then I proceeded to call the bank, which should have been a 5-minute call but turned into a whole hour, which it shouldn't have been. I told them again, 'The next transactions being made are by me.' Alicia at the Buford district, who I was on the phone with, only confirmed the username I tried sending the money to, not the amount, and went ahead and took the $500 out of hold, which wasn't even on hold anymore, and sent it to this person. I did not want her to do that at all! I was really frustrated but at the end of the day, I knew that I was going to get the money back some how. I tried confirming with the person I tried sending the money to before, and he said he didn't receive it. So, some random person has my $500, and I don't know who. I tried going to the bank the next day to see if I could get it disputed but, of course, Zelle was closed so I had to wait until Monday. Today, I went and the person said he couldn't do much because it's Zelle, and that I might get my money back and might not. So, I lost $500 that wasn't even my fault. I'm never going to bank with this terrible bank again. This whole week has been an absolute headache with this bank, and I lost money for absolutely no reason. I'm definitely switching to a new bank. P.S. I sent the guy the rest of the money on CashApp, which he confirmed it went through. I tried sending this guy money through Zelle which was the $500 and it didn't work, and that was the first and the last time I tried using Zelle.

I have been a DCCU member since 1987. The customer service used to be great, but no longer. Recently, I followed the instructions given to me by a customer service representative to set up an account-to-account transfer option between my DCCU account and my bank. After initiating the first transfer from my bank to my DCCU savings account last Friday morning, I checked my DCCU account on Monday. The account was showing a deposit for the transferred money, but the amount was not included in the available balance, indicating the money was on hold. I waited two more days for the hold to be released. On Wednesday morning, I called customer service and was told they were waiting on the two most recent bank statements for their review. No one had informed me that I needed to upload bank statements. So, that afternoon, I went to my local DCCU branch to show the bank statements to a customer service representative. She told me she did not need the statements. Then, she called the Account-to-Account department to inquire as to why the hold was still on my deposit. She was told they were waiting on the bank statements. She said she had never seen this requirement before and wondered why it was being required of me. I gave her the bank statements, and she uploaded them to the Account-to-Account department. She said the hold should be removed after the review of the statements, within 24-48 hours. Two days later, on Friday, I checked my account again. The hold was still in effect, seven days after the transfer was initiated. Again, I called customer "no-service" and was told my bank statements were lost! And, as a one-time courtesy, they would remove the hold, but I should not expect this on the next transfer. I asked to speak to a manager. After waiting about an hour, I spoke to a manager. Of course, she had no details on the issue that I had called about. I explained every detail to her. Initially, she was not concerned that my bank statements had been "lost" by the Risk Management department. How rich is the irony? She said she would "investigate" and call me back. Yeah, right... I am not holding my breath, but I will be notifying my bank that my banking information was mishandled by DCCU.

They used to be much better but have slowly gotten worse in recent years as far as overall customer service. Also they love to put a hold on funds when a check is any large amount at all for no rational reason, even if you can prove the funds are there. They're awful. I've been a member for 32 years but I will be leaving once I decide who to go to.
