I use the Woodforest Bank at Katy Mills. I was there yesterday, and I have to admit, I was very impressed with the assistant branch manager there; her name is Luz Simmons. This woman was very attentive to my needs, offered further assistance, and answered every question I had. I have been banking with Woodforest for at least 20 years, if not longer, and she is the best person I have ever dealt with. I've never had a bad experience with anyone at this bank, regardless of its location.

The Woodforest Bank in the Walmart at Manassas Mall is definitely the best bank that I have ever dealt with. I live in Herndon, and when they closed the Sterling branch, I was mad at first. But since then, after dealing with Vania and Mohammad, their service is unmatched by any other out there. They always ask about my family. You can't find a better place to bank. Thank you, R. Swain.

Terrible bank! I went to cash a check there, and they didn't even tell me until I had been sitting there for 20 minutes that I had to open an account to cash the check. Okay, no problem. Then I had a previous account I had to pay an offset amount for, so I paid in cash to offset the account and deposited half of my check into it. The lady who opened my account was so lazy; she didn't report that I paid it. So they came and took 100 dollars out of the money I deposited. It took almost 2 weeks to get my money back. Now, this morning after checking my account balance, I am somehow negative 75 dollars. It doesn't say what it is for or why they took the remaining money I had left. This is the worst bank I have ever dealt with.

My name is Theresa, and I am a loyal customer at Woodforest. I have never been treated unfairly, disrespected, or talked down to by any of the employees. My favorite is Rudy, who is always smiling, friendly, kind, and nice. He welcomes you with true intentions to help and solve any problems that you might have concerning your banking experiences at Woodforest. Rudy had left once and had gone to another branch, but he is back, and I for one am very happy to have him back.

There are much better options out there. Woodforest loves their service fees... And now they have changed it to a $300 minimum instead of $100 to avoid a fee. That's not the only reason I closed my account with them, but it was the final straw!

Horrible! My 27-year-old, 100% disabled son and my 9-year-old daughter receive their dad's death benefit checks from Social Security, and I am their payee. My name is listed on their checks. Now, after being able to mobile deposit them since March, I am no longer allowed to mobile deposit their checks. I need to come in and fill out a consent form. I don't have any transportation due to my truck being stolen, and transportation services are not available where we live. I'm a disabled widow and I receive disabled widow's benefits. My beloved late husband and I were married for 35 years. Woodforest National Bank has placed a tremendous hardship on us.
