The Nordstrom Store Credit Card is available to people with fair/limited credit and does not charge an annual fee. As such, it’s a great way to invest in your credit standing. This card also offers a decent initial bonus and solid ongoing rewards, at least in percentage terms, giving you a $20 rebate on a purchase of at least $100 the day of account opening and then the points equivalent of 2% back on Nordstrom purchases. Plus, you’ll benefit from free alterations, “triple-points days” and other Nordstrom deals. But it’s important to note that most of that package is easily replaceable by another credit card. So you shouldn’t lose any sleep if you choose to let this offer slip by. And if you’re on the fence about whether to apply, you can learn more from our in-depth Nordstrom Credit Card review: https://wallethub.com/edu/nordstrom-credit-card-review/25965/.
The TD Bank Cash Visa Card is an average offer with a cherry on top for someone with the excellent credit needed for approval. That cherry comes in the form of a $100 initial bonus for spending just $500 within 90 days of account approval and the offer’s lack of an annual fee. The middling nature of the offer comes from its 1% cash-back base earning rate (supplemented by just 2% back only on dining); its unfavorable regular APR; and a 4% balance-transfer fee that ruins the availability of 0% financing on balance transfers for the first 12 months.
All things considered, this isn’t a bad card to have in your wallet if you’re a relatively light spender who has excellent credit, pays with credit primarily when dining out and never carries a balance from month to month. In such a scenario, it won’t cost you a thing and will provide a decent rewards yield without requiring much thought.
But if you want to get the best credit card possible, this isn’t the offer for you. The excellent-credit corner of the market is quite competitive, and there are better deals to be had whether you’re in the market for rewards or low-cost financing. great card, great customer service and one of the best stores ever. Love the Nordstrom notes program and the generous credit line. Love Nordstrom...one of the few stores where I shop that isn't consignment.
APR is way too high, they report every single late payment with a quickness, late fees are ridiculous, and customer service sucks. I can't think of ONE pro... only cons, especially when you can get the 5% off perk with the debit card. DO NOT GET THIS CARD.
Too much volatility with this card, and a mediocre rate. They change my credit limit too often (in both directions), which indicates to me they place more importance on my credit score than my history with them.
I was not late, I pay all my bills on time, I pay them the last business day of the month,I told them that, the payment I paid the end of Feb,post to been apply to March bill, and they didn't,so it was their fault, not mine, I will never deal with TD bank ever again.I've never been late paying all my bills.
