The HUE Credit Card’s $49 - $75 annual fee can be worth paying if you have bad credit (a credit score below 640) and you need to borrow a small amount of money for an emergency expense. The card’s minimum credit limit is $350.
If you have bad credit but don’t need to borrow or you have a 640+ credit score, you should be able to qualify for less expensive cards. By the way, it's worth repeating that the HUE Card used to be called the First Savings Credit Card, in case you see different names being used.
What I Like About the HUE Credit Card
• No monthly fee • No application processing fee • No security deposit needed • Possible credit limit increases • Can help you build credit, if you use it responsibly
What I Don’t Like About the HUE Credit Card
• $49 - $75 annual fee • $20 authorized user fee • 29.9% APR • No rewards on purchases
At the end of the day, the offer isn’t that attractive for anyone but people with damaged credit who need to finance emergency expenses. If you’re in that boat, try to repay your balance as quickly as possible so the high interest rate doesn’t cost you too much.

Card received, annual fee paid, 12 out of 12 credit authorizations were declined. All transactions were for between 25 and 30% of available credit. Total credit line shows available, but the card doesn't work anywhere. Avoid this company at all costs.

This card is very bad. They don't care about their customers at all. I never use my card, but there were charges on the statement that I claimed, yet this bank did not care at all. They are very bad. Now I have to pay for everything. I have never had this kind of experience before. They don't care about their customers at all. So, it feels like they are stealing the customer's money.

"I don't know about anyone else, but I am having the hardest time trying to log on to the site. It usually tells me it is under maintenance, and this has been going on for weeks. So, I tried the 'I forgot my sign on' option. I put in my card number, expiration date, code, and the last 4 digits of my Social Security number. It says 'Not available at this time.' What the heck is wrong with this site? This has been an ongoing issue for weeks. I am trying to set up auto-pay. If I have to call, I will lose it. They are incompetent. At this point, I might as well face it. I am never going to use this useless card. Forget them."

Just started charging a monthly service fee of $6.25 on top of the annual $75.00 fee. Monthly service fees are a total disadvantage for credit card holders. So, basically, now this credit card has a $150.00 fee per year and high interest. I have never been late on a single payment and have had this card for 2 years, and this is how they thank customers for their business. I am paying off and cancelling immediately. I do not recommend this card.

Never had issues with this card and had over a $2k limit, but they recently added an annual fee, so I closed my account. Tired of being nickel-and-dimed by these greedy corporations.

I have had this First Savings Credit Card for over three years and have been able to have the $75.00 annual fee waived for three years by talking to customer service. However, since Hue took over the credit card division, they want to start charging a fee of $6.25 per month as a purchase with interest charges on that amount. This is in addition to the $75.00 annual fee already being charged. I'm going to pay off this card and leave these greedy individuals as soon as possible.

This card was okay for over one year... then they sold it to HUE... now they purposely hold your payment... then fraudulently charge you a late fee. That's fraud. I've filed with the attorney general for the state of their headquarters. Done with this... once good... now gone bad! Game over!

Really bad customer customer service - I could not believe how terrible the end user experience is with this company. I've never had a credit card company hold my payment for over two weeks. Talking to the customer service line seemed almost like a joke; I could not get my head around how shady they appear, with too many red flags to list. Do not do business with this company.

Received my card knowing of the high interest and upfront cost due to my low credit score. However, after I made my first payment, they deactivated my card and mailed a letter asking me to verify my bank information. I don't understand why they would accept my payment and then ask for verification from my bank via mail in 2024. It's too much of an inconvenience, given my busy schedule, to go through the hassle of verifying bank information that they had no issue drafting from my account, so I'm closing the account.

This is nothing but a rip off. I first gotten my card it was $75.00 fee. The fee was paid . Now I have a high balance to payoff . Never purchased anything with the card. I’m paying them off and closing my account. They charge interest if you haven’t paid the full balance?
