We have been Sunoco credit card users for decades, my wife and I. Since last summer, we have had 5-8 fraudulent charges, all for diesel fuel and for quite a bit of money. Each time, they credited the account and sent new cards. When asked what they were doing to catch the person responsible, our question was totally ignored. It’s very frustrating to have someone steal from you, and nothing is done to prevent the fraud. Even when we decided to cancel our cards, nothing was done to try to retain us. Instead the representative just rambled on about nothing. They claimed they would investigate, but never heard anything back. And it’s strange, after getting new cards, about 4times, another fraud was committed.

Called to resolve a card status issue. Spoke with "supervisor" Ramond. HORRIBLE service. Talked over me the whole time. Did not listen to what I said only wanted to prove I was wrong or something. Very arrogant, rude and condescending. His tone just dripping with sarcasm. Hope they record their calls.

DO NOT GET THIS CARD! I called because I am worried my account has been compromised. All 3 times I got a foreigner who spoke broken English and advised me for security reasons they have to send me a letter or someone would call me within 24-48 hours! HOW IS THIS SECURING MY ACCOUNT? I told them to cancel the cards or at least put a hold on my account until it resolved if this is how thyme have to handle it. They wouldn't even do that! As soon as this so called phone call or letter appears - I am cancelling this foreign account! Shame on you for not making me feel secure!

The Sunoco gas credit card gives a discount on gas and on the East-coast there are many Sunoco stations to choose from. On the New Jersey Turnpike almost all the gas stations are Sunoco stations, and the gas station man still puts the gas in your car, like the old days, at least the last time I was there.

Buyer beware!! My Sunoco gift cards are not working. The gas pump says unknown id $P. I contacted customer service through the website for help and was told they are too old (2 years) and they could not verify balance. I know the cards are good because when I go to Sunoco's website and type in the numbers to check the balance they come up correct. They also have no expiration date and are only two years old. Covid caused us to use less gas than anticipated. We have purchased almost 30 $100 cards over the last 4 years and if there is nothing to be done they will be our last. I also called and was told someone would contact me in 48 hours. That was 4 days ago. I guess that means I am out of $251 worth of gas. Shameful way to treat customers

As a business owner, the Sunoco Gas Card grabs my attention. I have a habit of paying off company credit cards monthly and with the passenger vans we utilize, I could easily see us using almost 6,000 gallons a month. I am currently using a Mobil Gas Credit Card that charges 24.99% and am only offered 6 cents off the first one hundred gallons a month. Sunoco gives me the immediate savings I’m looking at the cost of paying basically upfront. Another feature that sticks out to me is that if I am out of a Sunoco area, I can use my card almost anywhere. If you have more than 5 vehicles then I would think that Sunoco is worth looking at.

The Sunoco Gas card is pretty nifty in that you can save money on gasoline just by using it! I like how there is no annual fee, but to make sure that you get the benefits from it, you basically have to commit to paying off the card in full every month. The interest rate is too high to justify carrying a balance with the paltry amount of rewards. For a business owner, this would seem like it could be a great deal with discounts for fleet vehicles. The rest of the benefits are pretty standard and there is nothing major that would make this card stand out. I think I would plan on sticking with gas stations that give discounts for direct debits or have their own reward cards that are not credit cards. This one just doesnt seem really worth it.

The Sunoco Gas Card is your typical gas card that almost every major gas station try's to get you to get from them by putting up signs at the pump and such. The Sunoco Gas Card does not really offer any thing special at least at first, over the years and if you buy enough gas you will start to save money in the tune of 1.5 to 3.5 cents per gallon. But even to get that you will need to charge at least five hundred gallons of gas on your card. If you can avoid it and have a Shell in your area I would suggest skipping Sunoco and heading over to Shell.

Sunoco Gas Card is an interesting card, you must pay the entire balance in full each month or it gives you a late fee of 2% or $10 dollars minimum, but if you buy large amounts of fuel with Sunoco, this card has some great benefits. If you drive a lot or run a business that will uses a large amount of fuel you can save up 3.5 cents per gallon if you spend up to 10,000 gallons a month. That 3.5 cent savings definitely will add up if you are buying that much gas, so this card will save you a lot of money.

The Sunoco Gas Card is useful for businesses with large fleets. It can be used at over 200,000 locations, including over 4,700 Sonoco stations. A 3.5 cents savings per gallon is awarded for 10,000 gallons purchased per month, with smaller savings rates applied for lesser totals. I doubt that this card would be of much benefit to an individual consumer, as most of the features seemed designed for high volume purchasers. However, if you work in commercial transportation, this card might have some good benefits, including a dedicated account manager, to assist with daily fleet operations.
