GuideOne Insurance

We have Guide One for home owners insurance and in our experience, they are one of the worst. We had a major leak in our master bathroom and they were barely going to cover the demo let alone anything else. I went back and forth for 2 months with the insurance company, had 3 separate contractors come out to quote the work and they ended up giving us a total of $3400. The quotes we received were for the demo and repair and the lowest was $9,500. Two of our neighbors had similar problems in their master bathrooms (must be the way they were built) and one received $10,000 for the demo and repairs for the same exact problem and another neighbor received $8,500 from their insurance. We are shopping different companies to switch, they are terrible. I would recommend staying away!

It is really important that a car insurance company has excellent customer service and a quick response time. I have been so thrilled with my experience with GuideOne. Fortunately, I have only had one accident since I have been with them (about 10 years), but their customer service was so nice and helpful and got my claim resolved in just a few days! My rep even called to follow up and make sure that I was ok and satisfied with the level of service that we received!! I will highly recommend!!
