JASON KELLER was my claims guy and I have never spoken to a more condescending rude person in my life! The one time I have a claim he talked to me like I was a criminal instead of help with the fact that my car was stolen. I have been a customer for years and will never go back to this company again. Horrible service you pay all this money for insurance just to be spoken down to by some claims loser who thinks he's a criminal justice lawyer.

I would have given less than one star if I could! Filing a claim with Farm Bureau has been frustrating to say the least. While the adjuster was in touch in a prompt manner, getting answers about why our rates will go up when the damage was not our fault has been a series of run arounds and passing the buck. In addition, our agent has shown no concern (never asked the question if everyone was ok). The only information she has given us is phone numbers to call and emails of legal jargon. Rates may be cheap but service is horrible.

The people who handle your claims are rude and will try and bully you to get the answers they want. I was a customer of theirs for over seven years and never had a problem until I had a claim. Terry Peterson and Jason Keller were the two people I worked with and I have never been treated so poorly in my life. They were ready to deny my claim before they even talked to me and they refused to hear my side, then when I wouldn't just lie and agree with them or tell them what they wanted to hear they refused my claim altogether. Zero stars - go someplace else.

As a late bloomer to the driving world, I only got licensed and insured last year (I am 23). I had never been insured before, so finding an affordable rate was next to impossible, especially because I financed my car and needed comprehensive insurance. Farm Bureau was recommended to me by a friend, and since their office is really close to where I live I stopped by. They had an amazing rate to start with for comprehensive insurance, and they also had a great deal where if you sign up for automatic electronic payments, you get $10 off the monthly rate. I went with them and although I haven't had to make any claims yet (thankfully), my experience has been outstanding. They were really helpful in talking me through the policy and making sure I understood everything. I couldn't be happier!

I have had auto insurance through Farm Bureau of Michigan since I started driving in 2005. My parents, grandparents, and a few aunts and uncles had policies with our local office and was pretty persuaded to do so also, I have been with them since. I have to say that it must be obvious why I haven't changed insurance companies in almost 10yrs, they're the best. I have been in a few accidents since I got my license and must say that none of them were pretty. Every time it happened, the situation was not a good one. Farm Bureau insurance made it better and easier to deal with. It was like in each occurrence they stepped ahead of me and took the lead. Working with them has become something that I have grown to rely on in times of emergency and they're always there and willing to help. Their customer service is immaculate. That's one thing that's hard to find these days in the insurance business. They treat me like a friend-of-the-family, not like a number or a customer. And when I have an issue or question they talk to me in terms I can understand. Like I said, there's a reason I've been with Farm Bureau for almost 10yrs, because they're the best.
