The situation was this: I traded one vehicle for another, and all I wanted to do was switch the policy from the old car to the new one. Simple. She was asking me about coverage, and I said do the same as the one I'm removing because I traded it, meaning I need collision and comprehensive because it's a classic policy. She proceeded to tell me that all I needed was liability. This was news to me because in the 30 years I've been dealing with old cars, that has not been the case. I said OK, put them all on liability because it would obviously reduce my premium. She put me on hold for a few minutes, and then when she came back on the line, she was very combative and insinuated that I was committing some kind of fraud. It was really bizarre. Then she demanded pictures of all the other cars I had and them in the garage, as well as my declaration page for my regular insurance. I complied, sending them out via US mail the next day. Almost two months go by and I hear nothing. Out of the blue, I got a cancellation notice in the mail. I called them, and apparently, they lost some of the pictures and I resent the ones they lost. I played phone tag with this Katelyn person, and she became very rude with my wife. I decided not to deal with Katelyn anymore because she is incompetent and disrespectful, and I had no desire to exchange harsh words with her, so I started dealing with another pleasant lady. In the meantime, Katelyn H. initiated the process to cancel the policy.
Please note: I just read the other reviews. Apparently, they don't pay out if you have a claim. It's a good thing I never had an accident in the many years I had this policy.
