"Horrible! Avoid these people! I am a widow and had financial difficulties which led me to enter into a Debt Relief program in January, which I found out was doing nothing, so in August, I canceled them. CFNA had sent me a letter offering a settlement in April. I first ignored it, because the Debt Relief people had told me to do that, to have no further contact with my creditors. But I began receiving not only daily calls but multiple daily calls from creditors. I called to work with them. CFNA told me I would be in a "Hardship Program" and to make payments of $130 per month in July, August, and September via automatic withdrawal, which I agreed to, and after that last payment, to call and make an agreement on the settlement amount.
My last payment was 2 days ago. I called today five times. Three of those times the call dropped. No one called me back. After the first call dropped, I requested someone please call me back as a courtesy. It didn't happen. On the last call, I requested this to be escalated to a supervisor. The supposed supervisor says there is no Hardship Program and now my account is current, so they can't offer me a settlement!!! Meanwhile, now I am being charged interest and the $3.99 fee for paper statements even though my account is closed!!!
That's about $67 monthly at present, so that's $804 per year!!! It will never be paid off at that rate. It was against my better judgment to take out this card with such a high APR, but I needed tires and minor things done to the car. I also learned on the last two calls that their call center is in South Africa.
I am suspicious of the financial practices you can apparently perform there. I feel very scammed by this, and I thought I was going to have a heart attack by the time I got off the phone with the supervisor who talked over me. Not listening to me. Horrible!
This is a bad reflection on the guys at Tires Plus, and that's very sad, because they have been very good to me and helped me. They are great—just do not do business with CFNA. Rip-off artists!

They act like loan sharks. I had CFNA Tires Plus for years, and one time they mis-scheduled the 6-month deferred plan—which I believe is deceptive—they won't admit the error and are unrelenting. They are only interested in accruing interest and fees. I strongly advise against getting their 6-month deferred payment plan. It's terrible! They make you feel devalued, as if you're merely used and disposed of after they've taken their share of interest. They show no concern for their customers and simply move on to the next person to deceive. It's outrageous!

These guys lack even the basic online customer service capabilities. You cannot pay for charges until the statement, and when they do get paid with a direct transfer, even though the balance shows zero, it does not adjust your available credit for days after the transferring bank was debited. It was a good opportunity for a discount when I got tires, but I'm not sure it's worth the future discounts and I simply do not trust them, even though I pay in full every time; the interest rate is crazy high.

I've had an account with "these people" for almost 15 years. It seems that some loan sharks have taken control of this company, resulting in drastic changes to their business practices. After making a payment in full approximately 45 days ago, CFNA claims that my last payment was returned by my bank. Accordingly, they levied a $41.00 return payment fee on a $0.00 balance, which I contested immediately after determining the returned item was a bank error. They said they would only reverse the charge if I produced documentation that my bank account balance was positive at the time of the auto payment in question. Upon accessing this information via my corresponding bank statement, I immediately forwarded the proof (my bank statement) they requested via email. Even after acknowledging they were in receipt of the email, they did not credit my CFNA account as promised. Furthermore, they added an additional $41.00 punitive late fee (totaling $82.00), again on a $0.00 balance for services rendered, which I informed them I had no intention of paying. Quickly, they began an ongoing campaign of harassment via multiple telephone calls, emails, and text messages every day. If necessary, I am prepared to escalate this matter to the FCC and State District Attorney's office.

I missed one payment this year due to simply forgetting for the first time since opening my card in 2018. These guys lowered my credit limit by $1,500! I understand how credit works, trust me, but when asking them to restore my original limit, which I worked hard for, they couldn't do it. "You'll receive a letter explaining why we can't raise your credit limit right now." Okay, no, I want to know why it's so easy for these people to take things away from you, but so hard for them to correct a situation. I write out all of my bills monthly. This one time, I forgot to list CFNA and was 6 days late on my payment. I called as soon as I realized and made the payment including fees. I'll pay off this card and close it because, at this point, they don't deserve my business.

I was very happy with them; I paid them off in full, $2006.77. They were very considerate. I paid my bill on time, and now that it's paid, I am happy myself.

Made consistent payments to my Firestone account for 2.5 years, over the minimum amounts. I missed a single payment, and then they lowered my limit by over $600. Customer service is completely useless, and this company knowingly and intentionally utilizes terrible systematic practices that put consumers in completely avoidable financial situations, harming their credit and causing them to pay more in interest and fees. Avoid doing business with this company!

I have had the card for a few years. I pay off the balance but opened it when I had to get four tires and work done to utilize the six months of no interest. I recently (March) used it for a purchase of over $800.00 and proceeded to pay it off. The merchandise I ordered has never arrived, it was supposed to be 7 to 10 days per receipt (now June), and the merchant kept telling me it was unusual and asked me to give them two more weeks. I agreed and told them I would dispute the charges if the merchandise was not received by May 23rd, which came and went without any communication, so I disputed the charge. Firestone called me today, over two weeks after my dispute, and informed me that they now have all the information and the credit can take up to 45 days. How can they take so much time when they have copies of my receipts, etc.? As soon as this is resolved, I will never use this card again. It was bad enough that the merchant made me wait, now my credit card company is making me wait over two months for a refund for merchandise I still have not received.
Awful company. They charge you interest if you can't pay off the credit card within a certain amount of time. I was charged $323.00, which is insane, making it impossible to pay down the card. I think you should be out of business for ripping off customers that way.

I was one day late. Attempted to pay on a Friday. Payment was due on Monday. Every time I logged in I received the same message: "We are experiencing technical difficulties, please try again later." Tried to call and their phone would not even ring, just dead air. Finally, on Monday (one day late), their system was miraculously up and running. I contacted customer service after I made the payment, and they refused to waive the late fee even after I explained I had screenshots proving their system was down. I have proof that their system was down, but they don't care. I can't wait to pay this card off, and I will never take a vehicle to Bridgestone/Firestone again. Moreover, I will post on social media about my experience, especially after reading all these comments. I see they are far worse than what I experienced. I can't wait to be rid of them.

I'm an individual with good credit. I was late once because I was overseas but have never been late before and have excellent credit. I asked for them to waive the late fees, and they only met me halfway. Interest rates are extremely high, regardless of how good your credit is. The card I had was a Firestone credit card. It is definitely best to go to your local garage for repairs when you have good credit and just use cash or your lower interest rate credit card. I will never use Firestone or CFNA again. CFNA is part of the larger problem in this country of credit cards, just charging exorbitant amounts and interest because they can. I refuse to do business with them at all costs.

My credit card payments have been set up through auto-pay with my bank. For the last several months, my payments have been posting late. I even pushed my auto-pays so that they are now mailed three weeks before my due date, and they still are not posting. It seems to me they may be holding these payments to accrue late fees.

Avoid using them at all costs!!! Their customer service is a complete joke. If you need something, good luck! I called, spoke to four people in different departments, and none could help. I was told to email. So I emailed, and three weeks later, I got a response that had absolutely nothing to do with what I sent. I called a different number, which also told me they couldn't help but to email a different email address. So, I did. Two and a half weeks later, I received an email today stating that they can't help. What I need is very simple and would take someone literally less than two minutes to do. They are seriously incompetent.
