Dovenmuehle Mortgage

Finally paying off our principal with Dovenmuehle after almost 30 years of the original loan with multiple banks, and DM is helping us to get it done.

Can't comment due to several ongoing lawsuits. I recommend avoiding this company; they have the worst customer service I have ever seen.

Constantly changing the settlement date, knowing I was on dialysis treatments, and my disability was overlooked and not considered throughout the process.

I have had my two home mortgages through Mountain America Credit Union since 1997. Unfortunately, when I refinanced to a 30-year mortgage, they told me I needed to go through Dovenmuehle, with whom they partner, for mortgages longer than 15 year payoff. I was completely happy with Mountain America for decades, but am not pleased with Dovenmuehle the past 2 years. They charged me a $49.79 late fee due to a misunderstanding about a payment, and did not notify me before charging the fee. Otherwise, I would have taken care of it immediately. Then, they would not waive the fee when I called and made the payment as soon as I received the notice. Mountain America has always worked with me on misunderstandings, especially since I have paid my mortgage payments, car payments, and Home Equity Line payments in full, and often making extra principal payments, as well as maintaining a 793 credit score. I will stick with Mountain America, but will never do business with Dovenmuehle again (nor do I recommend them to anyone else).

Terrible management -no one knows what to do over there. Loan mod docs lost had to re sign them. Now 2nd set of docs in, over 30 days and still not updated in their system. My loan still shows delinquent and in foreclosure.

There are not enough four letter words in my vocabulary to describe them. If you find out your mortgage will be serviced by them, don't walk away. RUN. This is punching marshmallows. If there were ZERO stars as and option, they would get that. One of these days someone will go postal

Do not use this company. The customer service lies to you and you can never speak with the same person. Asked to speak with supervisor and they even tell me something different each time. I am trying to get a mortgage released from refinance in 2005 which I just found out was never released. It took them 2 weeks after me calling almost every day to finally mail it via snail mail. They know I am on hold to close on current home and new home but they said they are not permitted to overnight anything. I am still waiting to hear from a manager after over 48 hours. Save yourself some stress and look at all the reviews and go with another company.

Everything is good just refinanced a cash out loan to update main bathroom. Looking good so far will be a beauty when completes. TY.

Bait and switch, and behaved exactly like sharks. Absolutely terrible experience, and I will never work with them again.

Waited last minute on every document, almost cost me my house in delays. Lied to me on every phone call, to the point where I refused to speak over the phone. After that I required all further conversations to be in writting.

Avoid at all costs.

I rec'd a HAF grant to cover my forebearance debt. Dovenmuehle stole it. It was paid in August, and they still have not deposited it into my account. I get the run-around from them. I sold my house because they started foreclosure proceedings, and I just wanted to take what I could make off the sale and get away from them. So they basically got repaid for my debt TWICE. They owe me the amount they stole from HAF!!! Crooks!

If I could provide negative zeros for a rating for this company it would be a negative 10! They are liars and don't care about helping you keep your home. All they want to do is take your home and make a heavy profit. They repeatedly request information to be emailed to them and when you email they're constantly saying they didn't receive it they didn't receive it they didn't receive it. No one in this company communicates with one another and they're very uneducated and unprofessional. Been working with this company for almost a year this is the worst mortgage company that anyone could ever work with. This company is not for homeowners. This company is a slaughter to take your stuff! They turn the Great American dream of being a homeowner into a nightmare. I I urge you, you can help me if anyone is having to deal with this company seek out an attorney for a lawsuit ASAP.

mine that has druggies running in and out the house. The windows are broken and the door doesn't even shut. They have had a year to evict the squatters and they have done absolutely nothing. They have been fined by the city as well. I cannot sell or rent my house next door due to their neglect.

Very aggressively notifies you if you happen to miss a payment and reminds reminds and reminds you over and over and over again until you do

I appreciate the low finance rate, but I cannot stand the fact that I have to mail a physical check in every month. There is no option for paying the mortgage online or with credit card. Too archaic!
