I am writing this review. Horrible experience I am a K9 handler in New Jersey and they dropped my coverage due to my partner being patrol certified. I did advises that under title 10 of the civil rights chapter 5 section 10:5-29.9 a working insured through a department is exempt from the normal everyday pet laws. They still insisted that because the dog is a German Shepard and is trained to bite they will not be insuring me anymore after I originally told them when I applied that for the coverage that I worked in the K-9 unit and had a patrol/explosive that lives on premises. I’ve had the company for about Four (4) months now and I am trying to get in contact with the underwriter so I can get a full refund since they are violating the civil rights and no one returns my call. I am doing this because this is not fair to anyone who has a service dog . What’s next going after the blind with their German Shepard’s ?????

When I moved back to Rhode Island last year and bought a home, I had to search for home owners insurance. I did a search on the web, compared prices, and received the best quote from Providence Mutual Fire Insurance Co. Their rates couldn't be matched by any other company. I haven't had to put in any claims, but I have called their office to ask some billing questions. I found everyone to be personable and helpful. The office isn't too far from my house if I need to stop in there to pay a bill or ask a question. This year when my policy was up for renewal, I checked rates again. Providence Mutual quoted me the lowest rate so I decided to renew the policy. I will continue to check rates, but I have a feeling I am doing as well as I can do right now.
