LGE Community Credit Union

As a disabled veteran, I must say that this credit union would be at the bottom of my list of banks. I called both the credit union and their member to explain that I mistakenly sent $190 via Zelle to the member. I provided my name, the amount, and the bank name to verify that it matched the information the member indeed sees on his end. I even stated his name that appeared on my end through Zelle. The guy stated that he needed to verify with his bank that it wasn't fraudulent activity, which didn't make any sense to me. I recently finished remission treatments, and living on disability is already difficult; the credit union and its member are making it hard for me to remain calm.

Dayana Gonzales is extremely good at her job. Her customer service skills are excellent. She is very kind in stressful situations and is very good at explaining whatever you need to know.

LGE allows Zelle to be included in their mobile app. Zelle is used to transfer money from a member's account to pay bills on various websites. A fraudulent website where I attempted to make a purchase requested that I use Zelle for payment. LGE transferred $299.00 using Zelle to this fraudulent website. Due to the numerous issues with Zelle, LGE has a specific form titled "Zelle Dispute." After submitting a Zelle Dispute form, LGE did not refund my $299.00. I would think that since LGE provides a Zelle Dispute form, they are aware of the challenges associated with using Zelle and should have informed their members about these potential issues.

My 15 year old son currently has an account in which I am the custodian on. He is the only one with a debit card and being a 15 year old informed me that he couldn't remember his pin and asked that I call to reset it. He also informed me that he couldn't remember his login either. So I contact the number on the back of the card to inquire how to get everything reset. Was asked a series of "questions" by the agent, one being the last place the card was used and exact amount. I of course did not know this as he uses the card and was unable to go any further in the call. Is there not any other way to verify the account? Never asked me to verify my SSN, etc which would seem sufficient enough. They told me to have my son call them when he is out of school so they can verify with him. Again, how is he supposed to remember the exact details (highly doubt he will remember the exact amount spent at whatever fast food restaurant he eats at- and is unable to login to check specifically-this is why i'm calling?!!! Sounds like we are going to have to drive all the way over to the branch to get this issue fixed. Extremely inconvenient!

The snap deposit "non-feature" only exists for limited use. I have a brand new phone, yet I'm told that is not a phone I can use.

LGECCU Mortgage Department failed to pay our home policy insurance from our escrow.
I paid it myself to insure my Policy wasn’t canceled!
Hope this is fixed before next year and I get reimbursed for the payment I made.

Please tell me why my card isn’t working after I confirmed a transaction with the text you sent out. I don’t understand why a grocery store we go to weekly was listed as suspicious. I replied yes and our card still isn’t working. Lockheed needs 24 hour customer service. It’s a Sunday we can’t use our card. Fraud dept said nothing was wrong not sure why the card wasn’t working. So here we are! Can’t access anything and I guarantee when we go to bank on Monday, they won’t be able to explain it. This is not the first time this has happened.

Lge has been a great partner for my car loan.
They were really quick and easy to accept the app and really easy to set up payments.

I am well pleased with the LGE Credit Union on the East-West Connector in Marietta, Ga. My loan rep. was the nicest lady, She was very knowledgeable about car refinancing, and extended warranties, which I gladly took advantage of. She even said my credit was good enough to get a credit card also. I thought I was dreaming, LOL. Everyone I came in contact with were the friendliest people you could ever want to meet. I am so glad that my sister, told me about them. She also had her car financed by them. I give my loan rep. 5 stars for being so helpful to me. and making sure I understood everything about the products that I received. Thank you LGE Community Credit Union for having such good people in your organization and for saving me money.

I have had a pleasant experience banking with LGE in Georgia. After banking with Bank of America and Higher One for many years, I really appreciate all the perks that only a credit union can provide. LGE does not charge a monthly fee for a checking account or for not maintaining a certain balance like other banks and instead rewards customers with monthly percentage-based dividends. The customer service is top-notch. Any issues that I've had have always been resolved in a timely manner. The staff is extremely friendly in person as well as over the phone and have never treated me as just another number on a screen, like they seem to do at larger banks. At this point, I have no reason to bank anywhere else and I certainly plan to take advantage of the many other services that they offer in the future.

I've recently made the switch from one of the larger banks in the US, to LGE Credit union and I couldn’t be happier. My experience with LGE has been phenomenal! LGE has incredible customer service, and are always willing to help and answer my questions when I call, or enter a branch, without having me wait an exorbitant amount of time. Also as a college student who hadn’t yet established credit, they’ve helped me acquire my first credit card with a $500 limit, and I can easily manage my CC bills, as well as all the other online transactions I do on a regular basis. For anyone who lives in GA, I would high recommend checking out LGE Credit union.

I signed up for an LGE account in 2011 after 5 years at Bank of America. First thing I noticed was the fees. LGE was way cheaper and there weren't any of that nickle and dimming that BoA has. Customer service is fast and very helpful. Their deposit system is magnificent. You go into the branch and there is an isle of screens where you press a button to contact customer service, which is fast. Then you put your deposit into a tube which is sent in. Then they ask you to type in your account and ask your last name. Then they send you your receipt. The whole process takes no more than 5 mins. and sometimes it’s faster.

I have been a member of the LGE community credit union since December 2008. I have been extremely pleased with the service thus far. I got a car loan through this credit union. It has a small family feel with a the "big bank" stability.

Unfortunately, due to the economic conditions in this country, I have been late on my car note payments a few times. To my surprise, they did not charge me any late fees. I even got a call from someone in the collections department and they were very nice as well.

I also have the option of paying my car note in person at another credit union in my area if I don't want to mail in the payment.

After my previous bank kept charging me $5.00 per month for not keeping a very high minimum balance and then they started charging me $3.00 to simply use their ATM card, I decided it was time to look around for a credit union that would offer me a lot less fees and a lot more interest. I found LGE and I've been really happy with them! They don't charge me for whatever balance I choose to have, I never worry about random fees, the customer service is always awesome, and the credit union is based in my state (about a 20 minute drive away from me!). They have a convenient branch located not even 5 minutes from me and I love it! Oh, also, the APY is much, much higher than what I was getting at my previous bank. I'm not sure why I waited so long to switch to a credit union- I get all the benefits and none of the random charges. Highly recommend!
