I am 74 years old, and I have been with Northwest Bank for many years. Their service has always been exceptional and respectful. My checking and savings accounts are there, and I had my mortgage with them and have had no issues. I like that I can easily use online banking and that cash machines are in close proximity to where I live.

Absolutely terrible bank. They do not have their customer’s back. I filed a dispute for some charges and made it very clear to the associate that I had more evidence to support my case. They said they would send me paperwork in the mail for more evidence. I received a decision saying my dispute was denied. They never asked for more evidence. Banks are suppose to have your back not screw you over.

Horrible and Outdated Customer Service - I tried contacting them about a fee that was charged to our account and was dropped by the chat platform 6 (SIX) times! They told me it was my internet connection and I can assure you it was not as every other platform I used that day had zero problems. I also tried their 877# three (3) times and got NO CALL BACK. Nice. I won't write about the litany of other issues I've had with them (..they don't see to understand bi-weekly or twice per month mortgage payments...and local branches do not communicate with HQ or the CS center....) - In fact, their lack of understanding impacted my credit rating b/c they could not get their act together on how to set up automatic payments....Ridiculous. I will say all the people I've spoken to are very nice but they have lousy technology....I mean like mainframe 1985 crap...avoid dealing with them in my opinion/experience.

I like the convenient on-line payment that allows your payment to be scheduled to the desired date. Customer service were friendly and helpful.

Had a very bad experience with customer service in the Bridgeville Pa branch. Unprofessional and disrespectful. Acting manager threatened to take overdraft fees out of my husbands social security check if he withdrew his funds - really, how big does she think her reach is? His balance exceeded $20,000. Took the issue to the District Manager who opted to side with his staff. There was a checking account available to him with the features he wanted (paper statements) at no charge but neither the acting manager or the district manager mentioned it. We found out about the option from a delightful representative in customer service. But the damage was already done. The branch does not value or assist elderly customers. Worst customer service ever received in my 70+ years. Moving on to a bank that values their clients.

There ATM's are always out of service causing me deposit delays. When I complained, the woman began blaming the customers for ATM issues. It would be very difficult for an end user to be causing ATM outages LOL. NICE TRY!! And I can't stand being forced to look at their advertisement on the ATM screen...the lady with the KAREN haircut!!!!! I don't want to see that anymore!!!! Switching to a different bank!!!

Terrible bank. Have a loan through them and haven't missed a payment, even paid extra and they won't help me out at all. Wanted to switch my pay date on my loan by 2 weeks and they refused. My house is almost paid for and they won't let me take 10 grand out. As soon as my house is paid for I an dumping this bank. Hopefully, by next June!!

Possibly the worst customer service I've experienced with a bank. Worse that a cable company. Each customer serivce member shifts blame for their mistakes. Live chat will just end if they can't help you, Online message has a 5-6 days response time and calling is usless. Go elsewhere for your loan servicing.
