The company is fair enough. The website for payment is simple; however, this is only if you're in good standing and current. Never fall on hard financial times and seek assistance from Loss Mitigation or anyone from the customer service team. They do not allow advance notice for anticipated financial changes. Personally, they did not advise me of any options, just told me, "You're still current. We can't help unless you're behind on payments." Contrary to the concept of help, if you are only one month behind, they will send multiple delinquent notices via certified letter; yet you do not qualify for any type of loan modifications or assistance because it's only one month. They will call you an excessive number of times a day, each week until you're current. Lastly, that convenient web payment portal is inactive if you are behind on payments. The only option is payment by phone (excluding snail mail), and there is an additional fee for payments processed by phone. This company irritates me, but refinancing and getting anywhere near my current rate just isn't an option in this economy.
