I have banked at Red Rocks CU for years and years, 2 paid auto loans, checking and savings account and paid unsecured lines of credit. Today I tried to deposit a payroll check into my checking account from Maaco Auto Body and drawn on a Wells Fargo checking account for $300.00, the check was made payable to my daughter (same last as mine) and endorsed by my daughter to me. Red Rocks wouldn't accept the check at all! I didn't want to cash it or do cash back, I just wanted to deposit it into my checking account and make the funds available once it clears, and nope RRCU wouldn't do it. If this is how they treat their members, I revoke my membership. DO NOT PUT YOUR MONEY IN THIS PLACE OR GIVE THEM ANY LOAN BUSINESS.

I have been a member of Red Rock for a long time. Our family has had a checking account with Red Rocks for over 20 years. We have also had checking accounts at other banks at the same time. We like Red Rocks because it has a smaller town atmosphere unlike the bigger national chains. We feel like we get more personal service and the faces at the bank don't change as much. Also, the customer service is geared more toward service and much less toward sales.

I have been a member of Red Rocks Credit Union since 2006. On the whole I am satisfied with their service and most employees I have dealt with have been pleasant, however there are some areas that I am unsatisfied with. Red Rocks has only one branch location (two if you include the one that is only for Lockheed Martin employees) that is located in Highlands Ranch. When I lived in Highlands Ranch that was convenient, but now that I live in Denver it has become a slight problem. Red Rocks is a member of PSCU's and you can use those branches to do your banking. Unfortunately every time you use one of those branches if you need to use a teller. Red Rocks charges a fee. ( ATM usage is free in network) So If I need to do business with a teller I either need to drive 40 minutes to get to the bank branch, or pay an additional fee to do it at a participating credit union in my area. The only other area in which I am unhappy is how they charge their overdraft fees. I live paycheck to paycheck and so my budget is quite tight. It has been my experience in the past with other institutions that as long as there is money in the account when the charge clears, there will be no overdraft fee. Red Rocks charges a fee if there is no money in the account when the card is swiped. For someone who doesn't live on such a tight budget this would most likely not present an issue but for me, it does.

I have been a member of Red Rocks for at least 15 years. I have always been very happy with the service they've provided me, from free checking to easy access to my accounts via shared branches (just be warned, there is a $5 service fee each time you access your account with a teller via a shared branch.) Their staff is always helpful, and more than willing to go the extra mile for you. When my wallet was stolen in Italy they were wonderful about getting my debit card shut down right away, and monitoring my account until I returned, to alert me of any suspicious activity. I would highly recommend them to anyone in Highlands Ranch looking for a good credit union.

I have been a member of Red Rocks Credit Union for 22 years. What began as a free benefit that I received when going to work for a local defense contractor has become a long-standing relationship with a credit union that is always super friendly and eager to please. Although they no longer have a free-standing location near my home, they have joined forces with a number of other credit unions and opened a service center within blocks of their former location.
My favorite part of my account is my overdraft protection, which assures that, if I accidentally spend more than I have in my account, that amount is covered. They have a location very near my home, and their hours work very well with my schedule.

We recently became members at Red Rocks Credit Union. We found their location to be extremely convenient. So far, we have been very satisfied with the services that they provide. The best part of the membership are the rates for loans that are available. Their car loan rates were well below what we could have gotten at our bank and they had a lot of options in terms of available loan terms. In addition we have a few of their savings vehicles which have decent rates. The hours are a little bit limited, but for a credit union they are also pretty standard. The employees that we have met and worked with have been very friendly and also extremely informative.
