You can send money to a Chime card in several ways, including bank and instant transfers, cash deposits, and direct deposits:
- Instant Transfer: Link a debit card to your Chime account and transfer money instantly. Go to the "Move Money" section in the Chime app to get started.
- Bank Transfer: Transfer money from another bank account to your Chime account. You can do this through the Chime app by selecting "Move Money" and then "Transfers".
- Pay Anyone: Use Chime's "Pay Anyone" feature to send money to friends or family, even if they don't have a Chime account. They can claim the money using a valid debit card.
- Cash Deposit: Deposit cash at over 90,000 retail locations, such as Walmart, CVS, and Walgreens. Open the Chime app, go to "Move Money," and select "Deposit Cash" to get a barcode for the cashier to scan.
- Direct Deposit: Set up direct deposit with your employer or benefits provider to have funds automatically deposited into your Chime account.
No matter which method you choose, sending money to a Chime card is a convenient and secure way to get funds to the recipient.
