You can transfer money from your Chime® Checking Account to another bank online or at the mobile app. Here's how you can do it:
- Tap Move Money.
- Tap the Transfer money button to go to the Transfer screen.
- Select your account from the dropdown under To.
- Select Link a New Account.
- Select Bank Account.
- Tap Continue and follow the instructions.
Once you've completed these steps, your external account will be linked to your Chime Checking Account. After linking, you can use the Chime app to transfer funds from your Chime account to your external account.
Keep in mind that transfers to external bank accounts can take 1-3 business days to appear in your account, depending on your external bank’s policies. Also, while Chime does not impose a limit on ACH transfers initiated from an external account, external banks may have their own limits and fees.
