To transfer money from your PenFed Credit Union debit card to your Citibank account, you’ll need to use an ACH transfer, as direct transfers from a debit card to another bank account are not typically supported. Here are the steps to follow:
- Log in to PenFed Online or the PenFed Mobile App.
- Navigate to “Transfers” and select “Transfer Funds”.
- Link your Citibank account if it’s not already registered. Enter your Citibank account details, including the routing and your Citibank account number.
- Choose your PenFed account as the source and Citibank as the destination.
- Enter the amount and confirm the transfer.
ACH transfers typically take 1-3 business days to process; weekends and holidays may cause delays. For the most current information, you can contact PenFed directly at (800) 247-5626.
