No, you generally cannot withdraw money from the personal account of the co-owner of your joint account. In a standard joint bank account, both account holders have equal rights and full access only to the joint account itself.
However, a joint account does not grant any access or ownership rights to the other person’s separate personal accounts. Those individual accounts remain private and are accessible only to their owner or to anyone they explicitly authorize.
