The Amazon.com Store Card app is not the same as the Amazon Shopping app. The shopping app is designed to help Amazon customers make and track purchases on Amazon.com. It does not offer any Amazon credit card account management features.
Here's how you can check your Amazon.com Store Card balance:
Online: You can check your Amazon.com Store Card balance by logging in to your online account. From your online account, you could also ask a representative to check it for you, via the chat function.
Phone: You can also check your balance by calling customer service at (866) 634-8379.
Mobile app: Another way to check your balance is through the Amazon.com Store Card app for iOS and Android.
Amazon Alexa: Ultimately, you can use Amazon Alexa on any Alexa-enabled device, by enabling the Store Card skill.

Via mail: You should receive your statements each month in the mail, unless you’re enrolled in paperless billing.
If you choose, you may enroll in paperless statements and receive them online only. Once you enroll, the issuer will email you every month to let you know your statement is ready to view. You may log in to your online account and switch back to paper statements at any time.
