You don’t need to do anything to renew your Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card before it expires. If you continue to pay your credit card bill and annual fee on time, Capital One will automatically send you a new card, which you should receive 4 weeks before the old one expires. You can call the number on the back of your card if it hasn’t arrived by then.
If you do not want to pay the $395 annual fee for another year, you’ll need to cancel your card before your account’s anniversary month. Otherwise, it will be charged each year as normal. However, don’t forget that you’ll get an annual bonus of 10,000 miles to help cushion the blow if you keep your card open.
Finally, if you need to replace a lost or damaged card before its expiration date, you can request a new one on the Capital One website , through their mobile app, or by phone. The new card should arrive within 4-6 business days. If your card is lost, you may also want to contact the major credit bureaus to place a freeze or fraud alert on your credit report.
