You can earn the Chase Sapphire Reserve card bonus points by spending $6,000 in the first 3 months of account opening. Meeting this initial spending requirement qualifies you for the Chase Sapphire Reserve card’s 125,000 points welcome bonus. There are several other ways of earning extra points with the Chase Sapphire Reserve, too.
How to Earn Chase Sapphire Reserve Bonus Points
125,000 points:
Spending $6,000 in the first 3 months, will get you a considerable 125,000 points bonus. This bonus will show up in your account 6 to 8 weeks after you reach the spending requirement.
Up to 8 points / $1 Spent on Chase Travel Purchases:
You’ll earn 8 points per $1 spent on purchases made through Chase Travel℠ (including The Edit℠), 4 points per $1 on direct bookings with airlines and hotels, 3 points per $1 on dining, and 1 point per $1 on all other purchases.
Travel rewards are earned after the $300 travel credit is earned. A statement credit will automatically be applied to your account after accumulating travel purchases up to this amount. Travel purchases include airfare, hotel stays, timeshares, cruises, car rentals, taxis, parking garages, and more.
Referral Bonuses of Up to 100,000 Points per Year:
You can get a Chase Sapphire Reserve referral bonus if someone gets approved for this card using your referral link. You can earn 10,000 points per referral, with a limit of 100,000 points per year. After the person you refer gets approved, it can take up to 8 weeks to receive your bonus.
Ultimately, keep in mind that you can only earn the Chase Sapphire Reserve card’s initial bonus points once. However, the travel and dining bonus points can be earned without limit as long as you spend money on those categories.

It's not super easy, you have to spend $4,000 in the first three months. That being said, it's 50,000 points, so it's nothing to sneeze at.

Just by spending the $4,000 in the first three months from opening your account. They will credit your account almost instantly after that milestone.
