Yes, the Chime Credit Card is contactless. The card is equipped with a contactless chip called Tap-to-Pay, enabling users to conveniently complete their purchases by simply tapping the card to the contactless reader at checkout. This feature enhances the payment experience and offers a secure and swift payment method for Chime cardholders.
However, this contactless feature has only been implemented recently. If you have an older Chime Credit Card without the Tap-to-Pay feature, you'll have to order a replacement if you want your card to be contactless.
Here's How to Order a Chime Credit Card Replacement
- Open the Chime mobile app and go to "Settings."
- Scroll to the Chime Credit Card.
- Tap "Replace your card" and follow the prompts.
After you make the request, your new contactless card should arrive at the address on file in 7-10 business days.
